Situation: Been w/ my girl for 5 years, were engaged, I've followed the Don Juan principles meaning I try to be unpredictable, only seeing her 2-3 times a week, she does all type of stuff for me like buying me things, cooking, etc. etc...Everythings good but lately I've been feeling like I'm slipping w/ the Don Juan principles....I'm on break from school and she just quit her job....so we both have a lot of free time.....This is the first time since I met her 5 years ago that we have kicked it everyday....In about 2 months she is going to be in a year long program where will only be able to see each other 2 days a week....again...Is it acceptable for a Don Juan to see her throughout week looking at fact that a few months from now our schedules will be crazy and we will only be able to see each other 2 times a week.....I don't know...Am I slipping or what?

No worries, 5 years is a long time, and engagement is a big deal. You still have to keep working at not being predictable and boring, but it is always going to be that way. If you feel yourself slipping into being the borefriend, take a few days off and regroup. Just don't lose your own identity by spending all of your time with her. Keep up with other friends, hobbies, and interests. If all you know is the relationship, then you get dependent upon it, then you get needy, and things go downhill.
