hi, everybody, i'm 5'9 and 145 lbs, i have a really nice body and i've been trying to bulk up to around 155 lbs.
i started at 125 in february and at the end of may i reached 150 lbs (my goal was 155). i then had a bad diarrhea and in 2 days i lost all the water weight i had gained and got back to 135 lbs. i stopped using creatine and i ate as i liked and, unusually, i got very fast to 145 lbs in about a month (no water weight). i stopped lifting for a month and my weight was stable around 145 lbs, even though i lost a bit of fat (i got to 8% thanks to swimming, basketball and soccer).
then (it was 2 weeks ago), i began lifting again.
about a couple of days later, i started feeling always hungry. i mean, it's always like i'm starving, even though i'm always eating as usual. i can't stay more than 2-3 hours without eating, otherwise my stomach starts making noises and feels completely empty. if i don't eat for 4 hours, i feel a BIG pain in my stomach and i HAVE to find some food. i thought it was due to lifting again, so i didn't give it much importance.
then, a week ago, i lightly injured my wrist (nothing serious) and i decided to stop for 10 days. the starving feeling didn't go away

what the fùck is happening?!

i'm 18, could it be because i have not finished growing and i have entered a new cycle of growth? (my brothers, both younger than me are 6'1 [at 17 years] and 6'2 [at 14 years], while i'm just 5'9, even though i'm older, plus they look 22 and 17, while i barely look 18, maybe younger)

Why don't you stop overthinking it and just eat something?

Your body wants food for any number of reasons, just listen to it.

i get it, but why is it happening? there seems to be no specific reason for needing all this food

I promise, there IS a reason, you don't know it, I don't know it, your body knows it though, so trust it.

Maybe you ARE hitting a growth spurt again, I dunno. Just do the right thing and eat.

but i don't need to build right now... if i were offered another 10 lbs of muscle mass, i wouldn't surely deny it, but i don't want to join another bulking phase yet... so, i don't know if eating that much will make me gain just fat...
anyway, it's just out of curiosity that i want to know if someone else has experienced this... it strikes me because i've never heard of something similar happening after you hit 15...

dont complain your lucky. You have it easy gaining mass/bulking. If i could i'd eat more meals a day. But unfortunately due to my slow digestion or small stomach, i only have appetite for food only about every 4-5 hrs. At best i could eat 3-4 meals a day.
