Always after the smart ones

Last night I did my thursday one two bar combo (Buffalo Wild Wings then Red Hawk Late Night) and I was pretty suprised at how high the level of talent that presented itself! There were good looking girls in both locations but I'll center in on Red Hawk because that's where the root of this thread went down. I'm havin a stein o bud when I see this girl I've seen time and time again while out and about. She's about a 6-7 by anyones standard so she's not the tops but for some reason I've always been attracted too her. So she and her friend catch me and one of my friends looking over at them and wave. At this time we're still playing the feild and not committing to anything so we do nothing other then wave back. A bit later her friend (who's name I don't remember) rolls over to my friend and then to me. She says he lost the bet, they're not sisters (they're dressed very similar and have similar facial qualities), I'm respond "okay i guess next round's on him". She laughs introduces her self then goes back to the girl who i like inittially. Soon after the friend collects the girl i like and motions for me and my friend to come over, which we do of course. So finally I meet this girl, Daneila. I start talking to her and we hit it off right off the bat. I find out she's not only graduated with a 3.8 from my school but she's currently applying for top 40 law schools in the nation. She was suprised I knew a bit about our legal system and the schooling behind it (I do alot of reading on my spare time...and my work time...hell whenever I can really).

She tells me about how she's given up on Vegas guys as alot of them are dumb jerks, So she's dating a guy in San Diego. So I sigh then break into my detailed analysis on how LDR's are pretty much a waste of time and she agrees with me on some points and points out some reasons as to why she's doing it in the first place, mainly because of dating history in Vegas. We talk for a while, I number close and she kisses me, telling me I should come see her over at the Palms (she works in the N9NE group) and we should get together blah blah blah.

I've seen this girl many times before and I've always been attracted to her and much like the girl i'm seeing as well as just about any girl I pursue she's got brains behind the body, which for some reason I have a sixth sense about. I'm always after the smart ones.

Although you have heard the saying: opposites attract, just because people find others to fill in qualities that they lack, I think many people are naturally attracted to other people like them. Maybe you finally found a girl who can communicate with you at your intellectual level. I for one hate the stupid girls.... they are also immature at the same time (hmmm, I wonder why??). I will give any hot girl a chance, but I have passed up some girls just because from the very beginning I know our personalities aren't compatible at all. While she's talking about makeup and acting immature talking about other guys and all that stuff stupid girls do because they think they can affect us smarter guys in any way, I am thinking, I gotta get a smarter girl. Stupid girls who are hot almost always think they have game, but in reality, they have none, because, guess what, they are stupid... haha. Smart guys really have an advantage in this "game" as long as they don't overanalyze things as they've been known to do. Being smart helps the guy, but I think some girls have evolved to know that smarter guys are more successful, and therefore make more money. All I have to say to the golddiggin' ladies is: invest ahead of time ! Everyone knows of course that LDRs are pointless... and in my opinion, mainly for clingy and/or desperate people. Why would you date someone across the country when you can date someone closer to you? I wouldn't try to talk her out of it, there is no need to, most LDRs are held on by a thread of strength.

I'm not completely opposed to stupid girls, they're good for entertainment when you're out and about. I just don't think i could see myself seriously dating one. I've always tried to actively seek a hot girl who's smart and will do for me just as I'll do for her. There's something to be said for a girl who'll not only be able to give you a massage when you're feeling bad, but can also give you good helpful advice because they've got some thought behind them. that's my view on relationships in a nutshell, you want a partner, not a pet. I guess if I were a billionare or whatever I could get a "trophy wife" but I really don't see that happening in the near future, so why not have a g/f who can assist you and not just be a pretty face ya know?

I'm definately not trying to talk this girl out of her LDR, I just gave her my opinion on the subject and listened to her response then ended it. I really don't want to spend time talkin to any girls about their boyfriends, that's really pointless IMO. I figure if I see her out and about and maybe i'll stop by her job if I'm in the palms anytime soon I'll just put in a little face time and the rest will work itself out. The girl I'm seeing will be back from england soon enough so I'll probably have to back burn this one (although she's a nicer person, the one abroad is more my type) so i'm not gonna press all that hard.
