I'm a skinny guy (21 yrs, 5'11, 119lbs) - and I wanna bulk up. I'm a poor student, already about £10G in debt, so I can't really justify the $120 it costs to get the programme shipped to the UK.

Can anyone recommend some good info on bulking up? Im definately interested in quality links, but I'm looking for something systematic, I want to buy a book or two from amazon. I'm prepared to go up to about $30 if its good stuff.

Thanks everyone.

Phr0zen - thanks for the link - I checked it before, but I want to use a system thats as clear and comprehensive as it gets, basically designed for a moron. If I just use Diesel's guide, there's a chance I'll screw it up cos I don't understand it fully. Something with a few a sample menus instead of the maths would float my boat. Appreciate you not flaming me though ;)

KnightOfSexualRelief - thanks for the suggestion. I'm downloading some stuff now - though I don't recommend you K@zaa for "muscle" - you wouldn't believe how much gay porn popped up :( I did manage to get some recipes and workout routines. Can't help but wish there was a good book from a reputable source though.

Anyone got any recommended books?
(and if the answer's "no, so shut up and be grateful" - fair enough!!)

just want to say that bulking up will cost you much more money than 110$$.......eating double or tripple as much as normal is expensive......

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Cheers 4 advice Double - I'll be saving up. I don't mind lots of money going on food, its just too painful to spend $119 just for info and a routine all in one go.

File-sharing is a winner. Thanks KnightOfSexualRelief.

Visit www.ironaddicts.com

You can't go wrong with the advice on that site. I've worked with Iron Addict myself, and he's the real deal. In fact, after reading about the skinnyguy.net-program yesterday I realized that he's using about the same principles as Iron Addict is. The difference is the fact that Iron Addict is open to using more volume and/or frequence should your GENETIC RECOVERY ABILITY allow it. Your challenge is to try several types of training (with proper nutrition) to find out what kind of training suits you.

MOST people will NOT gain on a volume training regime, only 5-10% of a population can recover from it.

The average person does best on a hardgainer-routine with few sets and no more than a three-split trained once a week, some even need to reduce it to once every nine or twelve days.

Personally, I can gain on a reduced volume program provided I change it up and do a hardgainer routine in between to give my body a break.

Why am I giving you all this info? It took me eight years of reading and testing before I realized that I had overlooked the factor of the all-might genetic recovery ability. This is the very essence of training. Once you understand this, you will understand why a routine will work wonders for your buddy, but is killing YOU.

So, once you find your recovery ability, the secret is lift weights (try to add weight often), eat (get at least 1.5 grams of protein pr pound of bodyweight), sleep (no less than seven hours every night). I also recommend mostly compound exercises, but machines are not out of the question if you rotate exercises.

Well...guess it ended up a bit long, but the info is gold, so go to www.ironaddicts.com and learn the smarter way to train, then come back here and share this info with others.

I really think the skinnyguy program is worth purchasing then. The knowledge within the book will bring you from ignorant to a level of understanding than most personal trainers.

In addition, skinny guy is more then just a book. You get skinfold calipers, you get a tape measure, you get extremely detailed bulking and cutting information, organized diets and workouts, and access to a forum which provides elaboration on any questions you may have.
