Here's the thing, I kinda find it difficult improving my game. Something thats kinda been coming to me, thinking about some musicians and singers saying how when they're performing they have an alter ego, is maybe I should I try this?
Give myself an alterego when I go out.
Good idea/bad idea?

I'm gonna try it when I head out this weekend.

That's basically what all of us do, or at least did.

Aristotle said that you become virtuous (eg: courageous) by repetitiously acting in a virtuous matter even when you don't feel like being virtuous. Eventually if you do enough brave things even when you're feeling wussy, you'll become brave.

So eventually the alterego will probably take over if you do it enough.

Nobody is ONE single way, we are all essentially shapeshifters. All of us are more comfortable with some personas than others, the best socializers are the ones who are comfortable with various personas.

In practice I say it's good. It could help go beyond your usual self. I see it as a step to control your destiny, instead of just making sure you stay exactly the same person for everyone elses entertainment.
