A fb friend and someone I dated last year posted this article on her wall this morning, shocked at the "nerve" of men to think feminism has come at the expense of men. I commented that though I'm pro gender equality, several women I'm currently dating have admitted to me that men of my generation and among the millenials have lost some of the prototypical attractive male qualities simply by being raised in post-feminist society. She quickly deleted me, which, ironically, is symptomatic of the exact problem raised in the article.

It's becoming ever increasingly clear to me that what feminism has become is making sure that men are raised to respond and cater to women's every insecurity, rather than having women be responsible for managing their own insecurities. You see this borne out in reality when you don't show up a certain way or don't meet an expectation and the woman's response is "you made me feel..." I stop them right there and say, "I can't make you feel anything. That's your choice to feel that way, that's what you're bringing into it." Usually they're like, "Oh don't give me that, guys give me that all the time..." which means "Oh, great, another guy who wants to hold me accountable for the way I respond. Can't I just walk all over you, have you act like a gentleman, and henpeck you into total submission until I'm unattracted to you and dump your a$$?"

Anyway, interesting article, thought it would be ripe for discussion.

It's important to recognize that this is what their agenda has become. If you can quickly identify the symptoms and shut it down by walking away you will quickly become unique.

I'm railing against feminism to help others get from where I came from to where I am. It's definitely a root cause - and when you're raised in it, you need years of deprogramming, like being raised in a cult environment.

I'm responsible for my own actions and confidence, women are responsible for theirs, and the ones who can't accept that be damned from my life. Maybe I should keep this knowledge a secret and let other men stay under the "spell" and remain betas to set myself apart. Feminists are pvssies in both senses. Gender equality is one thing, but the term "feminism" puts too much pressure in one direction. Women like to hide behind it and use it as a shield. Just as we guys gets sh!t thrown our way until we learn so will they. Saying "guys give me that all the time" should be a pretty clear sign that they're doing it wrong, just as it is a sign to guys that women walk all over you or miles around you.

Besides, many guys are no better hiding behind male dominance to hide the fact that they are humans and have weaknesses. Equality is equal on both sides, and it's required that no side feels injustice. It's mostly anger, frustration and a feeling of injustice that drives the need to dominate, I just call it over-compensation.

In almost all cases of sh!tty people I've picked up on things in their past to pin their behavior to, and that they haven't really overcome it. From my recent experience all I can say is I generally prefer women to men. They are much kinder, gentle and accommodating. Men on the other hand are total w*****.

When dealing with women its like we are on the same team but with other men, its like full on competition. I have worked hard in recent years to improve my looks, fashion and weight. Its not like I am a mega slayer getting laid with a new chick every night but its nice to have women checking me out wherever I go.

I do get into disputes with women but on the whole association is better with women then men.

I suspect the women I am getting on well with are not feminist, just normal everyday women without any kind of militant tendencies.

Eh? Look I'm all for the not caring about what others are saying about you, but it's not beta to contemplate how certain actions affect the macro climate.

What is Beta is to completely ignore what is transpiring in the world around and say screw everyone else.

Being able to lead others requires acquiring knowledge of what is transpiring and you can't very well do that if you aren't informed.

I don't think anyone is suggesting we intently follow all feminist activities and get into a group chat and share our feelings.

It's more of a "Hey, here's an issue I'm thinking about and I would like to hear different perspectives."

The irony is that women complain that there aren't good men left yet they kick good men to the curb because they don't feel the spark. They get with men who treat them poorly and then complain that there are no good men.

It's a feedback loop where women refuse to internalize that the ol' axiom of it might just be you if .... you keep hooking up with degenerate douchebags instead they think there's something wrong with the loop it itself as if their actions are beyond reproach.

It's good to contemplate that concept because if you aren't thinking about it you're probably contributing to the lack of accountability by not holding women accountable, which is part of the reason we're here in the first place.

Step 4 Woman gets sympathy and is exonerated by AFC men for her actions because she deserves better
Step 5 Woman becomes more entitled and believes that everyone else is the problem

I'd say that's a pretty big issue because if you not part of the solution you're part of the problem.
