Alpha male has nothing to do women

Only if it's in your BEST interest, you can still be married and have kids and be an alpha male. You can commit to one woman and be alpha. You can be in a LTR and be alpha. You can be single and be alpha. Alpha has nothing to do specifically with women. It has to do with yourself and making choices that are in your best interest at all times. I think that's where some people get confused.

Most women want you to be great by yourself and come along for the ride. They don't want you to lean or depend of them or have your life revolve around them. They want you to have your own life and don't like it when you don't do what is in your best interest at all times. Most men generally do at the beginning of the relationship, but then they start straying.

If you start to stray from your best interest to HER best interest, she will initially love it because she gets things from you and shows off to all her friends. But inside of her there is a part that resents it because it shows you are supplicating. Now some of you may think "As long as I'm married and I can show society I can attract women and get invited to social events and not be alone and grow old together and be part of a family, it's in my best interest to supplicate to her.' That is fine. You may be doing a lot better than the Alpha who is not married. But how far does it go? When does it stop? Are you living a good life when you always have to be concerned about someone's else happiness?

To put someone else's needs ahead of your own for comfort, image or any reason is not alpha. That does mean don't get married or be in a LTR. It means you are the most important person at all times in every situation.

I look at it this way. Let's say you want to save someone from drowning. You have to be a strong swimmer and be able to keep youself afloat before you can save anybody. If you are flailing about and half drowning yourself, you're not going to be able to save anyone, you're going to end up both going under.

In other words, you have to be on solid footing and in a position of strength. Then you will be in a position to help someone else if you want to.

I see my dad as a mix of alpha and beta combined at all times. He got married mid 80's to my mom, she was a virgin and followed him. I think the marriage has lasted for so long because of his drive. Mechanic, hurt his back and then started a side business, became an engineer and kicks ass now. I don't see that drive in a lot of people. When he's not working, we're designing and building decks/fences. The guy is the "Patriarch" of the family. When **** hits the fan, he's the cool/collected person that everyone comes too. He's the voice of reason to my moms emotions. He can cut a deal with a client or cut them off, but then have a soft spot for mom and let her indulge and go over budget on the kitchen renovation. If there's ever a person that was possibly natural alpha or worked his way up it'd be him. Yet he talk me through a blue pills lens to take care of women. Very interesting dichotomy.

Being alpha is pretty much the same as being high value.

If women treat you badly, it's because you're low value. A high value man gets treated very well by women.
