Allen, you need to ban StuartScott

He hacked into your site and deleted a thread he didn't like. When called on messing with a site he has no right to mess with he attempted to hack into my computer after threatening to do so. He did manage to mess with my computer in a minor way, but I know enough to fix the minimal damage he did. His behavior shows a complete and utter disrespect for this site and warrants banning.

He must have been frustrated. He deserves a second chance. We can keep an eye on him.


It sounds like he just did something wrong. We all do that sometimes. Everyone deserves a second chance. He hasn't commited a murder.


Wyldfire you came up for me when a ban was suggested on me. Now StuartScott has given good insight on things. Why not give him a warning?

He is no threat to you or any of us.

If that's the case, then although he was stupid for claiming to delete it, he doesn't deserve to be banned. Within 15 minutes of making the comment that sounded very much like a threat my computer DID start acting weird and my system preferences HAD been changed. Whether it was him or someone else being opportunistic and doing it, I don't know. Although I don't agree with some things I read on this site, I DO respect it and his claim of deleting things without authorization ticked me off.

StuartScott...I retract my opinion that you should be banned. In the future I would advise that you think before making claims like that. If you are not the one who screwed with my computer, I apologize for accusing you. Someone DID screw with it, though. I don't think many people would not make the same assumption that I did in the same situation.

Gio, that might be the case with people who aren't computer literate, but that is NOT the case with me. System Preferences don't just change themselves. Desktop Icons don't just instantaneously attach themselves to other applications. I DO know my way around computers.

My system preferences were changed. The Browser icon was mysteriously directed to link to my system preferences window. My default e-mail account was changed and a password on my system was tampered with. I'm not the one who announced to everyone that I screwed with the forum OR the one who made the ominous threat when someone called me on an unscrupulous act that I openly claimed to have committed. In light of the fact that someone DID try to hack my computer immediately after you made the insinuation that if I posted something that you didn't like that it would get ugly....what might you expect me to think?

Perhaps I was quick to assume you were the one who tried to mess with my computer...but likewise you were inviting those kinds of assumptions by making that post in the first place.

What is you talkin about woman??? Why do I want to be a "challenge" on a website to someone I don't know? Who cares. I sure as hell don't care what you think of me. Next thing you're gonna tell me is to wait 3 to 5 days b4 I post a response. You've been on this website for way too long. If I wasn't rehabbing my knee, I sure as hell wouldn't be posting as much as I have in the past couple of weeks cuz I'd be out doing SOMETHING. If I had a family, I sure as hell wouldn't be at home all day like you to see if people have responded to your replies. I don't know how my mom would be able to support 2 kids and still stay online all day, just not possible. ("allen, he hacked into your site", "he managed to mess w/ my computer in a minor way" - Wheres the evidence, "he threatened to hack into my computer" -again wheres the proof, I never said that. You trippin' now), I don't care what assumptions you make about your situation, don't just accuse someone of doing something when you ain't got NO proof. I've seen it enough in my life and I bet that wasn't the first time you've done it to someone either. Honestly, that's really the only thing I'm trippin' off of.

Stuart, YOU made a post claiming to have hacked into the site. Whether you actually did it or not doesn't matter when YOU are the one who claimed to have done it. I was not the only one who wasn't very happy with you. If you don't want people to chew your ass out then DON'T invite it. I already retracted my opinion that you should be banned and I apologized for assuming that you were the one who tried to screw up my computer. It was probably some opportunist person who was just reading the site and wanted to instigate a fight. Now, I admitted that I made a mistake in rushing to judgement, but you have yet to admit that making that post in the first place was done in poor judgement on your part. Rather than do that, you have chosen to behave like a 4th grader and make immature insults to anyone who calls you on your stupid juvenile behavior. Secure people DON'T do that.
