Alcohol Problem

Should I dump my LDR gf of about 7-8 months because of the fact that she started to drink. I don't mind hanging out with people who drink but I don't want a girlfriend who drinks, not because I'm insecure but because I don't see any point in it and by drinking she loses her rarity because she becomes like everyone else. In my opinion I think that people only drink so they can get loose and have fun (outer game), whereas an individual who is outgoing and naturally fun doesn't need alcohol to let loose and have fun (inner game). Should I get rid of her because of this trait. She even knows that I don't like it but she keeps doing it.

Nah, you should keep her. You can try to persuade her from drinking "like a sailor". Me, personally, I don't want a girl that's going to go around getting drunk. I would try to persuade her from doing it....you can be a bit forceful ( not too forceful though )

Independent of this, it´s good that you don´t drink.

Eh, you're one of the old schoolers, aye? 16 is a very normal age to be an alcoholic now. Even a 14 year old getting smashed will only raise one or two eyebrows. Kinda sad.

Oh, and blue... I would do whatever you feel is right. If you don't like her dinking, and are smart enough to know the cons of drinking, and are brave enough to dump dump her because you think you deserve better... then go for it.

That's true, but if you mix naturally funny with some alcohol you can have even more fun. Now, I'm not saying you should go get drunk every night but it's okay to drunk from time to time, just like every other normal human being.

I don't like how people don't respond to posts seriously.

Well you can do one of two things. You can change your stance on drinking, or you can dump her. Speaking as a guy who said the same crap you're saying when he was 16, I say try to lighten up on the drinking thing. It's only going to get worse in college. And hopefully, you will someday be around people who drink not to get ripped and vomit everywhere, but who show you the positive side to drinking moderately.

Also, I don't know how this girl drinks. If I didn't drink and she got blasted like all the time and was passing out or I had to take care of her drunken ass ever, I'd dump her. Actually, I do drink and I still don't want a girl who gets blasted all the time. I don't want a girl who drinks much more than I'm willing to.

Would you be OK with it if she just didn't do it around you?

This is definitely a decision to be made based on a personal preference.

I would go with talking to her about it, if she is unreasonable about it, then make your own decision.

LDLTR's are not built on insecurities they are more or less built on trust. I think that if you can't talk through with it that you should go with your gut action. I would.

LDR's are a very tough thing to have because you both got to make time and have the means of getting down to see each other.
