AI tools and dating -- a review

I’ve been recommending this in a few threads where people have complained about dating apps, so I figured I might as well make my own thread for posterity.

So, you have have noticed that AI is getting scary good. This includes dating applications. I stumbled upon an app called Wingman Live and was initially skeptical (chatGPT wrappers are mostly crap shoveled onto the app stores) but this one actually impressed me, and I've been using it for a couple weeks. It has 3 features:


Profile Roaster

Tinder is 95% about your pictures. If they look bad, you won't get matches. The good news is this is mostly how you present yourself, and Wingman does a great job in this area by telling you exactly how to upgrade your pics, giving detailed feedback. I knew most of the tips for dating photos and I still got a lot of use out of this feature.

For each pic, you’ll get a detailed critique: what’s working, what’s not, and how to improve it. And when you upload multiple pics, it analyzes your entire profile, telling you what’s missing. It’s honestly one of the most useful AI tools I’ve ever used.



Conversation Genius
This is where Wingman shows the scary power of AI. You can upload screenshots of your chats, photos of your matches, or both, and it analyzes everything.

The suggested replies are sometimes genius, sometimes a bit too bold, but you can keep refreshing until you find one that works. In this one it found the exact make, model, era and year of the car (2016 Range Rover Autobiography L405) this chick was sitting on, and it identified her sneakers. I used my own take on one of these suggestions and she was impressed had a good date with her.




Dating Chat Bot
This is basically ChatGPT for dating. But it's uncensored (really) and is trained on game and seduction. I threw some advanced game concepts at it, like auto-rejection and qualification to see if it could keep up, and it delivered.

Anyway, I consider myself pretty good at dating strategy and this. I know we have people of varying skill levels here, so I recommend giving Wingman Live a try. As far as I can tell it's the best AI dating assistant out there.

I'm interested in what you guys have encountered regarding AI and dating, because I am sure there are some surprising applications that I haven't encountered. Please lemme know in the comments if you have anything to say.

IMO society is at a wide scale point where online dating and swipe apps have become a mockery

I'm not sure it matters anymore how good a profile is users are numb to the whole process and are becoming more and more critical of each other

Using A.I to hyper polish a profile may draw in a couple more surface matches but again I don't really see them leading anywhere

Overall its a complete waste of time energy and money

Well, my match rate went up when I took wingman's advice and overhauled my profile.

The girl in the pic replied quite warmly actually. Still talking to her and about to lock down a date.

Analysis:

This profile photo paints a bland picture of a basic b1tch thot who mistakes being cliche for edgy and is unrevealing in her figure and attitude. The headlights and gaping wide grill belong on the swpl npc vehicle not the chick, which in today's fast-paced dating ecosystem indicates sex simply isn't a priority in her presentation, and suggests a lukewarm attitude towards dating in general. While this individual may indeed be a well-rounded person by today's conspicuously consumerist surface-presentation focused social media standards, the simple fact remains there are no boobs in your face or come-phuck-me vibes. The prudent move for the dating app user would be a left swipe unless one is in the mood to troll.
