Affirmations Audio?

I'm looking for some audio that repeats affirmations back to you. Basically anything that talks you up for a few minutes. I'm sure that it could put you in a good mood or complement your inner-game, problem is I can find what I'm looking for. Any of you guys found anything like this? Preferable free :rock:

Look here. Lots of free files; most of them are affirmation oriented, and others have different purposes, but it's all good.

Tony Robbins and Dr. Wayne Dyer have stuff pertaining to affirmation stuff. I can't tell you where to get it (torrents anyone?) or how to download them legally (U torr-um, I'd better shut up).

The best affirmations for you are probably the ones that you do for YOURSELF. Try recording some in your own voice (full of feeling and emotion). Then save them as an mp3 on your computer. Then burn multiple copies onto a music cd so that you have created a group of positive affirmations that run in groups of loops. Then you can close your eyes and meditate (and also sleep) on these at the same time you visualize these things as REALITY for you.

Try it. It works. And I've found that few affirmations are as powerful as the ones I hear in my OWN voice.

Wow, you know Victory I decided today to record affirmations in my own voice. Felt STUPID, because I knew my peers would laugh at the idea, but realised that successful people are only successful BECAUSE they're willing to do what average people are NOT.

It's like the old chestnut - say to your buddy 'some day I'm gonna be president of the company' and he'll laugh. Tell the president and he won't laugh, he'll just wonder 'does this guy mean what he's saying?'.

Good to know someone else likes this idea. After all, only WE know what REALLY motivates ourselves. A tailor-made motivational MP3 makes sense; it takes the struggle out of getting the positive thoughts flowing when the **** hits the fan.

Recording your own affirmations

TIP: Why not write down your unique ideas and values and then repeat them as if they are already true? ie. "My body is vital and strong", "I am a shining light of inspiration in the lives of others".

TIP: Run while you do the affirmations, and create affirmations which correspond to a breathing pattern. To see how this is done, get a hold of Anthony Robbin's "Get The Edge" tape program. On Disc 8 ("Daily Magic") he has great affirmations.

"Every DAY in every WAY I am GETTING better and BETTER"

(you inhale on the small letters, exhale on the capitals). It links the affirmation to your breathing pattern, so just by breathing that way in the future you can have an immediate conditioned boost of confidence.

TIP: Use a freeware audio editing program to layer your own recorded affirmations over tracks from the Rocky soundtrack.

Affirmations are OK, but only if you're busy working on being a great all round DJ! Don't be the fat slob who repeats "I am muscular and incredibly buff" on his way from the couch to the fridge to eat a chunk of warm lard. Action is all.

That list looks really good Paper Man, can't wait to try some of it. I found some commercial affirmation tapes online but couldn't find them free anywhere.

I've considered recording myself but now I think I will. Although of course I wont tell anyone I'm doing this ;)

Exactly right. I just want to use affirmations help me stay confident and on track when I'm feeling down, and to supplement everyday action. Listening instead of reading, or both. I hope some other people can use these to help themselves as well.

I got a mic and some recording software and can record my own affirmations and other things. I have recorded a my own NLP sessions as well. I then put it on my iTunes and download it to my Ipod

In addition to using affirmation audio's and suggestions, I have found it incredibly useful establish a practice of giving instructions or commands to the subconscious mind, both early in the morning and at bed time. A simple statement like "My subconscious mind, I desire and command you to seek out ways to improve my confidence in _____ area this day."

There are brain states where the suggestions and affirmations are far better received, these states are falling asleep and upon waking up, alpha and theta states.

Lately I have been recording short 2-3 minute single focussed suggestions, and looping them for about 10-15 minutes in the morning over some alpha entrainment noise. Sometimes I mix back to back up to 4 individual affirmations. The more visuals/imagery you can use to support the suggestions the better. Write down the affirmations too, just write them and toss them out.

The more drowsy you are the better when using affirmations.

It does work. About one month ago I stumbled on a free affirmation mp3, just about basic self-esteem and self image. I listen a few times a day. I have started to think some of the phrases naturally. I'll think something or write something in my journal, then when I listen to it again and realize I had just written almost word for word what was in the affirmation without realizing it.

I've considered recording my own as well.

John Cliff talks about Altered States writing in his book the Master Seducers Handbook. It is like affirmations but is even more vivid.

I like the idea to record them and maybe even put them over music. I have some good software to do that with.

If you can add some EFT to your daily meditation/ Re Affirming practice you will also get rid of physiological effects of negative thoughts , and beliefs, anxiety and stress.
The less 'cloudy' your mind is, the less cluttered the Sub Conscious minds will be, hence freeing up mental energy for other things.
Holding on to negative thoughts is more energy exhaustive than positive thoughts and a Positive Outlook.

Some folks here may also be open to experimenting with cleansing and maximizing Chakra energy as well.

Keeping a journal also helps you 'mind dump" and actually 'dump" other's psychic energy as well.
A lot of people don't realzie how important it is to do this as much as possible, just like brushing your teeth or showering.

I use Hypnotica's MP3s, but I'll look into Originator's stuff too.

Writing down Affirmations and reciting them with powerful moving music also helps, since changing and raising our Vibration can be done when it is coupled with an intense feeling of desire and emotion together.

In other words, when Re Affirming, and Visualizing success... your Emotional State is the 'Go Juice" for your Thoughts and the Desires you wish to manifest.

Very true.

In addition to EFT, there are other new therapies that are highly effective out that do the same thing.

There is a section on The List called The BlockBuster which is a homebrewed version of EMDR, a highly effective process for removing anxieties, fears, emotional components ties to certain memories. It is worth looking into for folks with some emotionally disturbing memory recalls, for example, some AA is often associated with disturbing memories, maybe even forgotten ones.

This process will reduce or eliminate many unpleasant thoughts that pop up as a result of some trigger.

I did some EFT, by now a couple hours. I've basically memorized it just the way the guy in the innergame tapping videos does it. I haven't done it for a few days though, only because I don't want to keep bringing up old memories. There were a couple bad memories I had and when I think of them now, my mind almost doesn't complete the thought.

I have a couple choices. I can do certain exercises I got in a book about childhood experiences, and how they affect adult relationships, and keep bringing up the past, and writing about it, and all sorts of things, or I can do EFT and just try to "zap" it out of my system.

Part of me is concerned if I just "zap" it out, then I won't be focusing on the core, underlying crap that seems to repeat itself in my life.

But damn I'm analytical enough as it is. EFT seems like a magic cure. But I can't say it doesn't work yet.

Reset, the EFT does 'rewire' the electrical/emotional/physiological aspects. You DO 'deal' with the issues, because you let go of the often negative 'emotional charge" to these memories.
They don't seem as bad anymore, thus, with a different and improved persepctive you can meditate on them , analyze them and find a way fo delaing with them positively.
But, sometimes your phrases and the set up phrase nly adress a piece of the issue, and you have to keep diggin your subconscious for phrases that will do the trick and bring out the more repressed issues.
That's why you may have to do several round of different set up and follow up phrases for the same issue.
And good job on the Inner game Tapping.
I highly recommend to SS members.

EDIT: And for you personally Reset, concerning the "repetive" cycles, you must realzie that you will need to go deeper into the Spiritual Realm for those things. You will need to look into Chakra healing and cleansing.

ok, thanks for clarifying that Interceptor. I guess I can kind of do both, the EFT and self-analysis stuff. And I am doing spiritual work, I'm very into LOA so I've got a lot of that stuff going on, and still trying to deal with the crazy stuff that manifests in my life from it.

I'm kind of becoming this peaceful warrior/hardcore masculine man hybrid, and trying to figure out how the two fit together, because on one hand, the spritiual stuff says rise above ego and what you would call "shrewdness" and on the other, the masucline stuff says be very calculating, decisive, action oriented, and "wise to the world".

So it's like we have this immense power to affect our reality in real ways doing stuff you'd get flamed for here (like resonating with vibrations), but at the same time we're still animals more or less, and have to attend to the physical natural impulse men have to compete and be dominant. You seem to have made peace with both, I'm still working on it. It is sure interesting though. Not to derail. :D
