Allright Oakrider2, you know best. Just don't keep your mind closed to things you don't understand... it is VERY useful to always leave room for at least some doubt.
Good luck!

Brujo, no i don't study philosophy. I'm just curious as hell about everything :D
If it interest you, try Anthony de Mello, Herman Hesse, Miguel, Bach, Chrisna Murti, Don miguel Ruiz...
And don't worry about hostility. Hostility is always a sign of our own weaknesses, not the accused one's.

Don't worry about Titus, he's cool; he's just got his own, very unique, ideas. Often times people, myself included, have interpreted his posts as hostile, but alas he is just tring to get his point across, just read the posts and try not to get angry. I think that he is a nice guy. and to Titus: some of the stuff you say IS hard to understand, if you don't want to get into flaming wars about your every post try to explain both your theory and your perspective more clearly for all of us. see I try to keep my mind open *wink*.
As for afc friends, I think that it is ok to have them, not everybody can have game, but hey, if you have fun with them(the most important part of a friend) don't dump them for anything. My friends all fun to be around and that is all that counts.

You da boss, oakrider2!
Ooops, here i go again, i said another thing towards you! Sorry! Uppps, i just can't seem to stop myself, damn, there i went again, shyt, man, this just isn't my day...!

"Often times people, myself included, have interpreted his posts as hostile"

It happens to me too. But whenever we get hostile, that is shyt in our own faces and never the face of the ones who we accuse. It's a funny that we always accuse the ones who we percieve as very different then us. That is because we have encountered someone who has not yet been interpreted by our blind perception, and since we have not yet put a label on him. He is thus pecieved as a threat and we become hostile towards him.

"What the **** did this titus chump do to this post? What the **** is the point of his posts? Its so damn stupid..."

Goddang, i really have a knack for turning and twisting posts, don't i? :D
Zel, look, you are DEAF, you are DUMB (as in being unable to speak) and you are BLIND. It is because of these traits that you don't understand lots of things around you. Actually everything. Actually, you think you understand and see them, but you do NOT. At the age of 16 those things are very hard to understand but BELIVE ME, it is the TRUTH! You might as well live a few years more, peacefully in the darness in which you are now, and have been all of your life, as all the rest of us, and if one day you start thinking that there has got to be more to life than school, parents and work, then you will start seeing it all for yourself.
I wish you the best of luck!

Wow, Titus, I commend you for trying to open their eyes.

I absolutely understand Titus, if you cannot you are unaware, of a lot of things - to many to merely respond with in a post.

I advice you to respect his word, and to take it whole heartedly... He is not talking BS. I'll elaborate.

As a Don Juan in our society, we have embraced a number of principles which balance our lifestyle to what has been suggested as an acceptable one (by our community).

An AFC has no influence to live by such guidelines and regulations, thus is stick in what is unacceptable by society.

An AFC, aslong as one is an AFC, shall be stuck in their own personal sphere of unaccepted practice.

Whereas, as DJs, we are stuck (aslong as we are a DJ), in our own personal sphere of accepted practice.

One or the other, you are stuck... By labeling yourself and indoctrinating yourself as either an AFC or DJ you are placing yourself in a system of which people are divided. You shall remain in the division you were placed in.

Titus advices you to not drop friends merely out of arrogence...

I think this is a double misunderstanding, one, Titus is morally correct by stating that dropping a friend merely because you feel you are better then him is unacceptable, two, Realistically however, people drop friends (as DJs) because they do not respect them.

Most AFC friends put down their other AFC friends to make themselfs feel better. A DJ sees this and says "bye".

In regards to AFC friends, let them do what they want.

one f my afc friends tells me "Im going to go play counterstrike with a girl, you know, and let her win."

So im like "whaat? dude, go and beat her ass, and before you start playing make her wager something, like taking of her clothes for each point she looses, etc. and then beat her ass, its a win win situation! :)"

he responds " :( You're crazy!!"

and oh well, a week from now hell be crying about being told to fvck off its not going to be my fault :)

you have to let people make their own descisions, if a person doesnt want to wake up, you cant throw water on them.

which brings me to the whole TITUS ideal. :)

Titus, man, I love you, I really do, and I know exactly what you are talking about, and you dont know how excited and happy I am to see you starting on your own journey of discovery.

however, it causes me lots of discomfort to see you caught in the ego trap.

right now, I am extremely ego, I am judging you, I am placing you in a category, I am however doing this only as a way to guide you into the right direction.

When I first started going through some of the things you are, I was acting a lot of the same way as you.

I would go out and argue with people and try to explain to them, trying to make them see it from my new "enlightened" perspective. However I was still completely ego, and wasnt any more "enlightened" then anyone else.

Now, I am a lot better at avoiding this, because people are born with the right of free will. The gift of conciousness, and it isnt my place to notice "flaws" in them. If a person doesnt choose to see it from my perspective, then there is no reason for me to push my perspective on them?

I feel this is what you are doing, and I am trying to advice you to keep away from it.

I might send you a PM later :)

Renegade, nice to see someone who is a bit "woken up."

"I feel this is what you are doing, and I am trying to advice you to keep away from it."

Oh, man, is this GOOD!
I know, Renegade ego, ego, ego all the way... but it's a shame you stopped talking about your "englithment." How do you think i first came upon it? You think i got it nicely on a golden plate? Like hippogshyt i did! I got it from the most feared and hated person that ever was and will walk this earth for me: the maths teacher.
1. year, i didn't like her.
2. year, i felt disgusted by her.
3. year, i HATED her, but started to slowly understand what she was about.
4. year, bowing under her feet and almost licking the ground that she walk upon.
You see? She may have been a bytch to me, that is how i saw her, and her radical and almost nazi principles that first made me throw up later became my, now currently in their still early stages, life guides. If i had to answer the question "were 3 years of her, which were actually my own, torture worth it," i'd sceam so loud i'd break down all the doors and walls around me "FYCK AND HELL YEAH!!"
Do you undertstand? It's worth to tell this stuff, even thou it is, unfortuonatly from your perspective, even if you try to distance yourself from it. If someone sees it, he will pick it up himself and try to figure it out for himself... and the gift of it is worth more than any gold or torture in this world. And if the rest of the people don't learn aything from it, then it's ok. My job here is to do my dancing and jumping around and nothing more. If you learn something from it, good for you, and if not, nothing is missed.
I truly hope, for the ones that will someday »wake up,« that you will someday help someone with your knowledge, like the my nazi jailkeeper helped me. I you were the one to »shake me up« a bit from my »sleep,« instead of her, i would have been grateful to you from that moment on to the day they lay me in the coffin, close it and put it in the ground, i swear!
See ya!
