People make weight loss out to be one of the hardest things in the world. It's really not that hard, i used to be huge. People dont even try because they start thinking about crazy diet schemes when they could lose it all with a couple of basic ideas.

Fat guys are ussually lazy, thats why there fat in the first place. Thats the main thing to remember.

Laziness = fat

So lets attack it at the source.

So heres a couple of things that will benefit you:

1. Every morning wake up and go for a short walk (This increases energy levels, meaning you wont be so lazy). It spees up the metabolism.

2. Quit soft drink. Drink water.

3. Swap junk food for good food.

4. Still do weight training.

Still having trouble?

5. Do cardio a couple of times a week.

Then congrats, your not fat anymore, but more importantly your not LAZY.

I reccomend this ****, getting rid of laziness will do you more good then losing fat, losing fat is just a little more extra incentive. ;)

Nice post.

It's true. For most people, if they just layed off the junk foods and did some moderate exercise 3-4 times per week, they would lose weight.

This is not physiologically correct in all cases. I mean what it really burns down to is calories in vs. calories out. But if you just follow those guidelines you should be on a calorie deficit in most cases.

if your not very overweight, just eating healthily, doing 4 sessions of cardio at 45 mins a week, and drinking plenty of water will shed 10lbs in a short amount of time.

for severly overweight people, the mathmatics needs to come into play for when you hit a plateu, and methods needs to be applied in order to continue fat burning.
