Hey guys,
I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. It's that time of year again. Many of you guys are about to start college. And like so many others don't know what major to pick. Before you read the post keep in mind a few things.
Lets face it....Most of us are SLACKERS. We want to work as little as possible and play as much as possible. We delude ourselves into thinking that college is forever and we'll NEVER have to go out in the real world and get a decent job.
Now you might ask....why would i want to pick a JOKE major. Well there is a few reasons. One, as I have mentioned above is...you're a SLACKER. Two, you could have aspirations to go to grad school. A lot of grad schools/professional schools put a priority on GPA. Obviously by picking a joke major you'll earn a higher GPA then some guy struggling his way through a tough one. Just make sure you take your prerequisites on the side and score well on your entrance exams.
So with that in mind....lets begin....................................
Now if you are looking for a joke major...it wont be hard to find. Colleges and universities have MANY. BS majors tend to offer classes with a lot of common sense knowledge. For instance...you'll be taking a test and you see question like... On average which gender earns a higher income...men or women? Maybe not in those words exactly but thats just an example.
Secondly, if your major offers questions with no right or wrong answer. Then you have a BS major. These majors like you to write long meaningless essays. This way the teaching assistants can subjectively grade and fix the grade distribution so most if not everybody gets an A or B.
Thirdly, ask the jocks/athletes around campus what they are majoring in. These guys always have a heads up on what the best majors are to SLACK OFF in. Believe me these guys are pros. If you look around and see members of the football team in your class....THEN YOU HAVE A BS MAJOR.
Another thing. Most BS majors at respected institution(does not apply to community colleges) do not offer cumulative exams. This is a big one. Most of the real tough majors like science or engineering give cumulative exams at the end of the semester. While the JOKE majors just give the "last test" that comprises maybe a month of lecture. While the the kids doing the hard majors have to remember everything from the whole entire semester. And these cumulative finals can be worth 35 percent of your grade or more.
When picking your JOKE of a major...ask yourself these questions.
Does your major have you write meaningless essays?
Are your tests more essay format?
Can your tests be answered with common sense answers?
Does you major rarely if ever offer cumulative exams?
Do many of your classes drop the lowest exam?
Are there a lot of jocks in your class?
