Right, so lost some frame with a plate recently, over keen.

We have a difference of opinion on a political matter.....or at least, she knows something I disagree with.

Previously, she found another issue I disagreed with and tried very hard to get me to agree and I would not back down. In a few hours she was all over me.

Now, I am getting the same, harder. She keeps sending me things she knows I will not like, and then getting all pissy when I tell her what she knew she would hear - strong disagreement.

It's really hard not to cave in.....but I just can't give up my principles.

Why do they do this? She seems genuinely upset. Are they sat there thinking this stuff up? Are they deliberately doing this or is it a subconscious need to test us out?

I gave like 1 half inch but basically kept to my principles.

As I write, she is now being nice again!!! This stuff is so messed up!

Not sure if that was the point. The point was, I was in a weak position with her. She used this to see if I would roll over and agree on a disputed topic I previously disagreed on - will I give in, this time? Now she knows I like her, will she be able to get me changing my views to suit her?

The answer, she found, is NO! She very quickly became sweet again. If it wasn't politics, it would have been something else. She's working out if I have backbone, methinks.

When I was younger, I would have def caved in. They fight so dirty.
