Hi guys..
I am very into riding trails on my dirtbike (I have a dualsport which I use for commute and ride dirt back home). I go camping for 2 days at a time about 2 times a month. I've noticed that since I started riding a year ago, my body has made some huge changes. My bike is a dual sport and has a ton of extra sh!t on it. When I first started riding I was dropping it left and right and the wet weight of the bike I have (suzuki drz400s) is 330lbs. To make a long story short I have huge forearms and biceps now and thankfully I dont fall as much... This is a good thing However other parts of my body.. chest and stomach to be exact seem to not lose any fat. My chest has gotten a lot bigger and I *feel* stronger. I work 8-5 and by the time I get home (around 6:30) from riding around.. working out is the last thing I *want* to do. But I am tired of having part of the body I want and not the rest. I guess my question here is, is there anyway I can fit a light workout in my schedule during the mornings to trim down my chest and stomach? Is it even worth my time to schedule the 20 mins before work to tone myself up? Everywhere else on my body is fine.. I weigh 180lbs and stand at 5'11". I've always been heavy set but never huge or 'fat'. But as I approach 25 yrs old I realize I have a beer gut and my chest isn't cut the way I'd like it to be.
P.S. I have already searched thru the threads but none seem to give me any particular advice on people that do high intesity activities outside of 'working out'.
