I have realized one important thing lately.

Difficult first, happy later.

Its more like exercising. You have to somehow tire your body by doing repetitive semi-straining exercises. But after all that, you'll feel good, definetely.

Same goes to dating. You'd obviously need to go through the nervousness before talking to her, and the rejection if she decides to. But in the end, succeed or not, you'd feel better. You'll be glad that you've actually tried, and got the answer instead of just laying back and not knowing.

In sales, I'd have to make some calls to make appointments, and some of them cold calls. Now I get quite nervous when it comes to trying to sell myself for an appointment to a total stranger. But 5 cold calls later and only 1 appointment, I still feel great. Hey, at least I have 1 chance of selling now instead of none if I didn't call.

I also realize that sometimes I feel too lazy to go out. Too lazy to drive, just to meet a girl. Too lazy to set appointments because there's too much to do. Too lazy to even talk because my day wasn't so good.

I can assure you, that if you just do whatever you want to without procrastinating, you'll be 10 times happier than before doing it. Start focusing on the results because thats the only thing that matters.

Losers look for pleasing methods while Winners look for pleasing results.

JUST DO IT. You'll be glad you did in the end.

Indeed. Nothing is going to happen if you don't kick your butt and go get the action!

And eventually, even rejection starts to get fun.

Also, a new thing I learnt from sales class today.

Ask and Get, you get a 1-Up.
Ask and Don't Get, so what?

Its still better than:

NOT Asking and NOT Getting FOR SURE.
