Accepting that I will never be Alpha.

Hey,

I havn't posted here or read at donjuan in a great long while, but i still have some serious alpha issues that I need to come to terms with and I figure this place i can hear some good feedback.

I'm f-cking obsessed with the Alpha-beta status of guys. I can't shake it for the life of me, and to say it's annoying is a huge understatement. I -want- to be an alpha male so god damn bad, but i know this is never to happen.

The problem is, I can't shake this feeling of extreme resentment towards any percieved alpha I encounter. I am mad at them. I hate them. Without even knowing them. I can't accept in my mind that I am beta and will be beta forever,

I feel hardcore inferiority feelings to any *percieved* alpha.

Now i know this isn't doctor phil or some bull-sh*t on this forum, but i just want to see if anyone is feeling what I'm saying here.

I just want to stop thinking about the apha relationship and talk to everyone like human beings insted of instantly classing everyones status up. Eventhough like almost every guy is beta, i can't find peace with this.

The whole Alpha thing is highly overated and misunderstood. An Alpha is just the percieved leader of a certain group at a certain time. In other words, it is relative. Yeah, some people have certain personality traits which are percieved by people as being more Alpha than others, but it does'nt mean anything. You tell me, who is more Alpha, Bill Gates who control the world's computer industry or Bill Goldberg, WWE wrestler?

As far as I'm concerned, neither is an Alpha over me. Don't let intimidators color your perception.

Caring about being alpha is a constraint that will hinder you from being exactly that.

When you care too much about a girl, you will not get her because you will behave in a way that repels the girl.

lucky? yeah. because you have the chance to turn alpha and then become an alpha-beta male which is higher than an alpha male because you can approach issues with an alpha and a beta mind and choose the right one for the situation.

Don't allow yourself to be 'obsessed' with anything. Obession is bad on all levels, Alpha-beta relationships or not.

People who are obsessed with something (or someone) usually have no control over their emotions. If you don't have control over your emotions (or you don't know how to manage it), you're 'weak' (beta). People who are strong (alpha) can control their emotions.

What you should do, is pay attention to what these Alpha types are doing, learn from it. Take a good look at how they carry themselves, the way the talk, walk, body language.

Hating them has only gotten you frustrated right? Well, try the opposite....

When you can do that, you WILL be "Alpha". One of the signs of an alpha male is that he doesn't care about the judgements of others, whether they judge him "alpha" or "beta" or "gamma" for that matter. He just does what he believes.

Hello I was around so I thought I would respond... just a lil bit(50 cent).......

Understand that nobody is every BETTER than anybody else, we all are different in our own ways. The purpose of coming here, is to take some of these teachings or techniques and apply those that fit you and your personality, it is not about being somebody else, but to just change some of the things you are doing.

ONce you understand that, you will also see that theres room at the top for all of us. Once you are a don juan, you dont have to hang around all betas and Afcs to look cool, okay...hahah.......theres no coompetition, the only competition is you and that other person in the mirror looking at you strange in the morning....you got me.

All men should be alphas, because no man knows eveerything, and we can all learn from leaders like us at the top....see you at the top buddy!!

that's the same for me, but i guess it's because of the brainwash i got by some threads on this forum.

i think that being alpha and gettin laid have little less in common. even better, 2 identical guys, one is alpha, the other not, the alpha one will get laid more. but it doesn't matter anyway.

the best don juans i know are just semi alphas... i mean, they don't stay in the corner all by their own, but they are not even leaders or something... they just have fun and make some noise every once and then... the alpha male in my class is made fun of by lots of people... he can walk as slow as he wants, he can spread his legs as much as he wants, but i've known him for the last 9 months and i never saw him with a girl... no girl in my class goes for him and outside the class he is not the alpha male... everything's relative...

Great replies guys, I apprecate your insights a great deal.

I notice a big star-wars theme going on here.. and yes I know i have a lot of anger, i've been walked over my whole life and writing this post gave me a little chance to vent my kept up frustrations.

When I read your replies, everthing just seems so god damn simple and it allows me to see how f=ed up my thinking and feelings are in regards to this matter.

I think I'm going to start reading Sosuave again and practicing my game, it's been a long time off right now.
