Well, I've actually only been lifting 3 months. Was gonna get a gym membership at my local fitness first, but it was closing down and the next gym was a mission away.
Decided I'd save up and make a home gym, much more cheaper, convenient and fun as well, can listen to music and stuff. After getting the money together, i was lazy
and didn't do any workouts for a few months.
I've only been working out properly for 3 months now, and I've noticed a definite change in all my muscles really, but mostly my triceps.
I've gained weight too, not sure how much really as i haven't been calorie counting and stuff, but i can tell. I've been eating more protein rich foods too: cheese, eggs, quorn, oats etc. And generally consuming more calories.
I'm not at where i want to be, but I'm getting there.
Also, I'm doing work experience at a gym thats opening up near me, so might get tips from people there, help me towards my goal.
