Could somone point me in the right direction as far as getting bigger arm muscles and actually being able to see a six pack... I think it would really improve my self confidence and want to feel good about myself even more then i already do... Im about 5'7 and 165 pounds.

I dont need to lose weight right I need to muscle up?
I just need information like how many crunches to do a night or reps and what are the best excercises in lamens terms.... thanks

Do some searches for abs...its common knowlege that abs are made "in the kitchen". You basically gotta lose the inches of fat on your abs that hide the muscle that you want to see...and then tone them by doing ab workouts.

Unfortunately yes, you need to lose some fat to expose your abs. There really is no such thing as "toning" a muscle though, the only things a muscle can do is grow or shrink to adapt to workload. Regardless, if you eat right, do cardio and work your abs a few times a week you will eventually get a six pack. Its more difficult than you might think at first, but its very straightforward and just takes some work/patience.

As for bigger arms, obviously resistance training is the answer. However, you can't always just work your arms and expect a huge improvement. Its a well known fact that doing squats and deadlifts can also help increase arm growth because they put the most stress on your body - forcing it to switch to a "muscle growing" mode. My suggestion is to develop a full fitness routine with weights and cardio.

I am starting my dieting tomorrow, and weight lifting thursday. I will have a jumprope, adjustable bench (for bench press inlcines , and it has the leg lift thing included) , straight bar, one those bars with the grip and a v shape in it.. and two barbell bars..

Will this do? my sisters a personal trainer and said that your body will just reach a platue if you dont change your routines alot .... could anyone give me a good weekly routin to start out with.. I want to work my stomach and arms well basicly everything, thanks...

Your sis is a personal trainer and she won't give you some good routines? LOL

What she said is true, you should mix up your routine every 4-6 weeks for best results. You're gonna need a squat rack (if the bench doesn't have something for doing squats) and a dumbbell set, plus it would be good to have a pull-up bar.

read the bulking guide for some routines...

I got my 6 soon to be 8 pack from Track. I recommending finding out the excercise routine for a good track team or joining one.

That would definitely get him ripped, but if he wants bigger arms he would still need resistance training. Also unless he sprints, being on a track team will make it harder to gain lean muscle mass.
