about the bulking guide

Diesel,

What is your workout??? Do you do what is in the guides?? One of your posts said that the workouts in the guides were geared toward ppl who read magazines with the roid monkeys on the cover.

For instance, I thought that sets of 4-8 reps build strenght and sets of reps 10-12 build muscle size. Whats the deal with that?
Also please include the number of sets per exercise.

4-8 reps build strength and mass.

I gave the total number of sets per body part.

I usually do 2-4 sets per exercise (not counting warmup), for a total of 8-12 total sets depending on body part

and yes I practice what I preach.

I was a rower in college and competed at 6'4 215 about 7-8 % bf and by the time I graduated from law school (3 yrs later) I was 265-270 11% b.f. (at my height that's big without looking like a freak) so yeah, if you're consistent and give it time it works big time.

the problem is that the teenagers want to get huge/get cut overnight. It doesn't really work that way.
