What is it like to have an abortion in the first couple of months of pregnancy?

A friend of mine had an abortion when she was at her 5th month (she was 16) and she had to miss like 3 months of school and is unable to have sex for almost a year.

What if she had had it within 2 months from sexual intercourse?

It all depends on the term and health of the female.

Adoption is also an option in unwanted pregnancy.

This is so pathetic. I am all for abortion (rape, incest, health of mother, etc.). But I avocate more on the personal responsibility issue.

No, I'm asking when is the best time to have an abortion, because she doesn't want to have a child and because I'm going to move to another city within a month.

Also...I'm not a doctor and nobody in here is a doctor. There plenty of literature in the Internet that can help. Furthermore, the ones with the best answer are actually the abortion clinics (I'm sure they have brochures too).

She's 18, so we don't have to let her parents know. I'm sure they wouldn't threaten me or tell me not to see her again, but I don't want them to be worried about anything.

That's why I'm asking if having an abortion in the first months of pregnancy would be quick and not leave any visible signs on her (I think nausea and other minor problems would be unavoidable, but would there be major ones?)

Well, yeah, it kills the fetus. That's pretty bad in and of itself.

I think reproductive rights are the most important rights, and they are the only political issue I really care about.

whether anyone agrees that abortion is right or wrong and no matter what their own personal choice would be if it were them, the one thing that remains is that if you are going to do it, do it early.
it is better on the womans health, it is easier to recover, stress and worry after waiting for months to decide and having the baby grow and form and bond and then to do it would really be worse. it is also tons cheaper.

I for one am not for abortion. I think that it's a convenient way to get out of peoples ignorance. And the one thing I hate most in this world is ignorance.

Personally I think adoption is a miillion times a better choice.

No I havent. I'm getting this from one of those pbs programs on tv. Alough a little outdated, it was pretty in depth and could easily get anyone a little shooken. Graphic s*it man, they should show it to anyone considering it done, its just not right.
