I know everyone says "don't dip your pen in the company ink", and I totally agree with that.

BUT - work is a place you spend 40+ hours a week, every week. It's the ideal place to start getting your confidence up for the "real world". I work in a 260-person company and I try to talk to or say hi to all of the women I run into. Since I started doing this about 3 years ago, I've noticed it's definitely made doing cold approaches easier.

I also work on my push/pull stuff (especially talking to and then ignoring the HB8-9s). I noticed it definitely drives them a little crazy. Today, for example I was at another woman's desk (married HB6 not even interested), just bullsh!tting about the snow while doing some real work, and I noticed a HB9 that I've been ignoring kept getting up and walking by. She kept trying to make eye contact but I ignored her. She even came by and mentioned some insignificant thing to the woman I was talking to. Makes you feel good about yourself.

Of course, I would never condone dating or fvcking a coworker. Just a fun way to train yourself what to do outside of work!

Good post!

Take it one step further.

Talk to women everywhere.

Don't limit yourself to the notion of "pick up" either.

Talk to everyone. If you frequent certain stores, places, etc. chat the people up who work there. Introduce yourself to people. Get to know others. Challenge yourself everyday to meet some one new. When you get good at that go another step further and start approaching groups of people.

It's ALL about social skills and the best pick up artists, seducers, DJs, etc know how to socialize and are experts in any social situation.

Um yeah... i'm guilty of the work thing. I spend too much time working not to game women there. I've never really been burned, but i'm pretty careful too. Best advice I can give when hanging out with co-workers you are interested in is not to drink too much, and to tell them exactly where you are in life.

"Right now, i'm not looking for a GF i'm having too much fun."

If she still want's to hang out after hearing that you are GO!

Just reinforces your skills to use elsewhere. I have no intention of ever asking this girl out. Haven't you ever flirted with a chick just to flirt?

It's just an ego boost to be "chased" for attention, that's all. Confidence booster. No harm no foul.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.
