A problem i have is that when I am in a one-on-one situation I'm terrible. In groups I'm really funny and have a great time and I don't have many problems. But when im with one person, male or female, it gets awkward and i get nervous and freeze up. Any tips or suggestions on how to get past this?

Yeah, it's often harder to find things to talk about one-on-one.

Try practicing by focusing on one person for a little bit when you're in a group.

It seems to me like what gets it awkward for you is that when you're in a group you're having fun and simply not caring about outcomes whereas when you are with women you do(i know, we all secretly do).

You can try to apply the state of mind you have in a group in a one-on-one situation, you are just out to have fun and have a good time it doesn't really matter if you're gonna make it with girl x or y be confident and work on yourself. Stop worrying too much.

weird i'm the opposite... in groups I let other people take over, one on one I find it easy to continue any type of conversation.
