A man's purpose in life is to go out into the world and extract as many resources as possible (without violating Natural Law) and to give those resources to the people he loves. A woman's purpose is to find a man who provides enough resources to raise healthy offspring. It inspires men to achieve the greatest things imaginable, most of which are to please women (akin to a Peacock's feathers). Together, this formula maximizes the number of healthy offspring. Men and women are exact equal in every way and they can choose their gender based on their feelings. they should split the cost of everything and split chores, but remember, women are perfect and men are evil. This has put us in a state of degeneration (see Idiocracy) where we are producing third world conditions. (See Hillary Clinton for more).

It should be remembered that nature doesn't care about whats good for individual men OR women. Nature only cares about reproduction and survival of the species as a whole. Whoever or whatever needs to be sacrificed for a species to survive and thrive will be sacrificed.

Here is how the situation plays out in the animal world with lions: The male lion will mate and reproduce with every female lion available. He will stick around to protect the pride and the offspring while the female lions hunt for food and reproduce. He benefits from this because he doesn't have to hunt for food himself AND he gets to extend his genes to the next generation. The female lions benefit from having their cubs protected while they hunt AND having protection from danger when pregnant.

If a bigger and stronger male lion decides he wants to f*ck and reproduce with this pride of lions.. he first has to fight and kill the current alpha male lion. This happens all the time and many male lions die this way. The smart males run away once they realize they are the weaker one. They either find a new pride or just take care of themselves. The stupid males die in the fight. After the stronger male kills the current alpha male he proceeds to kill and eat all the lion cubs because he has no interest in raising another male's kids. Finally, he f*cks all the female lions and has his own kids.

So even in the animal kingdom.. you have smart males and you have white knights.

In the human world.. SMART men give enough to get a good return on investment. All smart men have a cut off point where they stop giving once it becomes clear there will be no good return on investment OR once giving becomes too inconvenient. STUPID men will give until it hurts.. then they give some more. In many cases they continue giving to females long after they have been abandoned by them. These are the morons women exploit the most. We call them "betas".

We all have to extract resources from our environment to survive. I can't think of any life form that doesn't. If that makes us leeches, so be it. No one wants to live hand to mouth, so the more resources we can extract, the better our lifestyle (materialistically speaking).

Neil's right about how the traditional male role is to use those resources to ensure the survival of our family and DNA. I guess PUAs would consider that beta though, since they think that spreading that seed around impregnating multiple women is the only natural way to pass on their genes. Regardless, modern Western society has messed up the gender roles so badly, they're unrecognizable.

I would tend to think we have a higher purpose. Our creative ability supremely surpasses mere "resource collection".

Last night, as the Cubs won the World Series in extra innings in Game 7 on the road after being down 3 games to 1, I was in bed with a 19 year old beauty whose boyfriend was out of town and who I managed to seduce. 27 years my junior (born 1997), it was the youngest girl I ever bedded, breaking the previous record (born 1995) by 20 months, only 25 days after breaking the other previous record (born 1993) by 34 months.

More importantly, this was a girl I had a huge crush on for months. When I first met her and she told me her age I said "1997? I bought a new BMW in 1997. Budget
It cost me $2 in quarters, $8 to buy her a drink (she used to work there and they served her) and $150 for a hotel suite (my apartment was messy so I opted for that option). But those on a budget will be happy to know that we had the complimentary breakfast this morning so I came in at only $160. That's only $20 an hour for 8 hours of unlimited sex. But I guess I paid for it.
