I am usually a layback person and recovering from a nice guy... but i have been trying to assert myself to girls. Few days ago a female friend of mine ask me to help her move stuff in her apartment and i agreed i usally don't say no when it comes to helping friends around but she keep moving the date i should come in to help her for two to three times and i told myself this is disrespect and she is taking me for granted. So i send her this email tell me what you guys think:rockon:

Hey
I am kind of tired and its kind of late so i am going to make this short. I
don't know how things go in China but here when you ask someone to help you
out(moving furniture or whatever...)you don't reschedule a thousand times okay?
I am more than willing to help you but i have my own schedule to make plans
ahead and you have to be a little considerate. Don't take it for granted that i
am willing to help. I am sure you are not like that and maybe you were tired.
Whatever thats not the point... the point is that you came across as
disrespectful. One moment you say yes the other you say no. If you are going to
keep doing like this, next time just ask someone else for help, your ex or
whoever.
Peace

It was a little too agressive, you should have just told her that with all the rescheduling and your own schedule there is the possiblitity that you may not be able to help her. Plain and to the point.

Good for you standing upto her but EMAIL?? That's a bit wussy. Tell her to her face or on the phone at least!

Or when she reschedules tell her "It'll have to be another time, I'm busy now".
