Don Juan
Hi
I am ne to this board and am trying to get this part of my life handled after years of being the cute, harmless, nice guy.
I have been doing the bootcamp started by The_Shezzler and am on week 3's exercises, starting coversations.
I recently moved to a new area and still have to organise a proper flat warming so this is one I have been using, especially at the bus stop coming back from work.
"Hi, I need some input on something, do you know this area well?"
It doesn't matter if she does or doesn't. The next thing is to say.
"I have to organise a party and I'm trying to get an idea of a good bar for everyone to mee to start off in before heading to the flat."
If she can tell you the names of some bars then you know the kinds of places she, and girls like her, might hang out. I mention this because two girls I talked to like this both mentioned the same bar.
Even if she doesn't know the area she'll probably try and help out a little bit and even if she can't help you have already broke the ice if you want to change the subject.
Another one to use is in the supermarket. Assuming you know how to cook a few meals, get the ingredients together. Then if there's a girl you want to speak to you can say something like this.
"Hi, I am trying to cook (an impressive dish) and I've got x, y and z but I'm sure I'm missing something. Any ideas?"
In both these cases you are demonstrating some value/social proof ie organising a party, cooking something other than a ready meal.
They might not get you a #close etc but they are good ways off building confidence by starting conversations with random women.
Just a couple of ideas.
