So it is time for me to start building my confidence. I have the ideal schedule. I work from 3pm to 11pm, which means that I can go out right after work, and sleep as much as I need to the following day. Here's the game plan:

  • I will be wearing a pink shirt as often as possible. If I get jeered by some dudes, whatever. I don't give a f*ck. If a girl asks why, I'll tell her I'm wearing it to build confidence.
  • I'll be going to a goth night at a local club on Tuesday nights. This is so I can get out of my comfort zone, and talk to the "weird people". Plus i'm naturally dominant, and I know that the types of girls that go to those places are... adventureous.
  • I will be talking to EVERYONE. Old ladies, couples, hobos, scary gangster black guys, millionaires (I know plenty), ugly girls, hot girls, gay dudes, and transvestites. If I see someone that I don't like and start getting judgemental about them, I will make it a point to go up to them and start a conversation.
  • I have a pretty kinky looking leather bracelet that I bought from Solis. it has three straps and four metal rings, and it could definitely be used for some kinky sh*t. I'll be wearing this out to clubs and sh*t.
  • I still have class, but that's what work is for; doing homework.
  • No more looking at porn. It kills my sex drive, and it makes girls in real life not look as pretty.
  • I will flirt with EVERY woman. No matter her age or looks.
  • I will wear ties between cycling the pink shirt.
  • I will make it a point to talk to the girls that are more conservatively dressed in a club; they won't waste my time as much as the sl*tty looking ones.

  • I will work out every day; again, I can do this at work.

Tonight it Tuesday, so I'll be going to the goth night. I will be tired after work, but I must NOT b*tch out and decide to sleep instead of going out. I'm only young once, and I don't want to sleep and work through my youth.

I see too many exaggerations in that, however that last line needs to be taken into consideration.
Such a simple common sense line but yet seems to be forgotten too often.

Just got back from goth night. Got there at about 0030 I spent about half an hour in there, just checking the place out. Cover was $5. Only approached one set, and just asked what time the club closed (I really wanted to know). She said around 0200. Handfuls of hotties running around, mixed in with fatties and weird looking chicks. Looks like there was a shortage of confident good looking guys, I was getting eyed up more often. It's inspired me to work out more, and look at porn less.

Even though I only opened one set, this is a MAJOR step forward; a few months before, I would drive all the way out to the club, sit in the parking lot, and then b*tch out and drive back home. All because it "sounded busy".

Staying up late tonight to acclimate myself to staying out later. Will go over my finances so I'm doing something productive.

Starting to realize that most girls in clubs are BORED (saw lots of dudes hovering with their hands in their pockets) and would probably have been more than willing to talk/go home with me.

Will be reviewing this thread prior to returning to goth night next week.

Tomorrow will be a tropical-themed club. Lets hope my motivation is higher.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I like the thread and your attitude.
I'm a little confused about why you're wearing the pink shirt though? Is it just to stand out, a peacock item, or to make yourself feel uncomfortable?

But I really don't understand why you are telling girls that you are wearing it to build confidence. I'm not sure why they need to hear that.

It's all three: standing out, peacocking, and making myself feel uncomfortable. It's a hot pink dress shirt that actually fits me very well. And at some point I'm going to forget that I'm wearing it, and I won't feel uncomfortable.

I'll tell them that I'm wearing it to build confidence because I AM. And I'll only say that to girls, and to girls that ASK.

It's raining tonight, I haven't been able to eat dinner yet, and I need to iron my shirt.

Three factors that would prevent a LOSER from going out tonight. I just need to eat quick, iron fast, and drive carefully.

But I have a canned opener (Lame, and I'm going to seem hypocritical because I used to bash anything but direct game. Whatever.) and I think I'll be more social tonight.

I'm under 21, so the place I'm going to might not let me in, but I know a handful of other places to go to, and I'll be sure to ask where else I could go being under 21, and on what nights.

Ended up not going out tonight. Wind and rain was fierce; would have been a waste of time.

Unfortunately, I went outside a half hour later, and the weather was fine. Damn it. I was already in the momentum of getting a bunch of chores and errands done. Oh well, at least my life is more streamlined. Downloaded a bunch of music and movies, as well as organized some files on my computer. Cleaned my room.

A clean living area results in a clear head.

Will be going out to 80's night tomorrow.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

when ppl ask about the pink shirt, don't say **** about confidence, make up something like its for breast cancer, and then remind them to always check their breasts for lumps. And don't forget to offer to check it for them haha :p

Good idea Darth. It's always good to have a bunch of dudes on the internet looking at things at a different angle.

Today... oh man. Talk about a total bing. I woke up late, didn't exercise, binged on junk food, looked at some porn, and watched Goodwill Hunting, then went off to work. I guess I was a normal American guy for a day. It f*cking sucks. And I feel like sh*t.

Still going to 80s night though. Whether or not it's raining. I still need to use my canned opener!

For some reason I just had the bizarre mental image of a dude in a pink shirt walking up to a group of hot chicks with a can opener, pointing with it at them, then asking "did it work?"

I should read more carefully.

That sounds like a request.

I have a can opener. And my pink shirt is on its way. I don't expect anything good to happen but I'm sure I can improv. That would be bizzare, but whatever works dude.

I might have to get one of those Spike energy drinks to keep myself awake, because I KNOW that when I get home that the bed will look very comfortable. But again, I don't want to waste my youth sleeping.

Friday night should be good as well; salsa dancing followed up by going out to a 18+ club (same one as goth/80's night). It's a gay club, and I do get dude hitting on me, but I'm very confident about my sexuality and I decline them, then befriend them. They're entertaining as hell, and they actually INTRODUCE me to their friends.

Whenever a dude hits on me I also always get a taste of what it's like to be a womanl; there's the creepy gay dude that starts awkward conversation and/or stares, and then the engaging, interesting dude that casually talks to you. Reminds me of the three second rule, and that women actually ENJOY being talked to.

And I've started spending a little amout of money on good clothes, but I always remember that my confidence is always going to get me farther than my clothes. I also need to remember that the point of clothes is to be an extension of my personality, and not the whole thing. And my physical health is more important than my clothes, and it also amplifies my confidence. I also don't need to impress girls. I have my own buisiness, I dress well, I'm tall, I'm working on building my wealth in both real estate and stocks, my teeth are nice, ambitious, adventureous, and I'm pretty good looking. A rich man does not need to say he's rich; I'm not going to show off of flaunt my sh*t. I'm not even "rich", at this point in my life- I just have the mindset and drive. I'm barely surveying the plot of land that my future empire will be built on.

Energy drinks should be used tactically, and not for pleasure, like I have been doing lately. They amplify my anxiety (sometimes), and the wrong kind can keep me up for HOURS.

They're letting me off work early, so I'm going to work out a little bit and then head out! Wish me luck!

If a girl asks why, I'll tell her I'm wearing it to build confidence.
I'd avoid this line.

You could play it like this, if you have the guts:

Her: Why are you wearing a pink shirt?
You: I'm drawing attention to breast awareness month.
Her: You mean breast cancer awareness month?
You: ..No.

Yeah, I really don't like the idea of telling girls you're wearing the pink shirt to build confidence. If you're telling them you're trying to build confidence that implies that you don't have confidence, or not enough of it. And we know how girls feel about that.

I know you're just trying to improve yourself, which is admirable, but I don't think that's information that the girl needs to know.
Honestly, if it was me, I'd probably just drop the whole pink shirt gimmick completely.

I like this thread...brings back memories for me. Thought the PUA community was outgrowing me, but it's nice to see some guys still doing crazy stuff to bring out their confidence.

Dude, it's just a colour. I don't think anyone's been like "woah you're wearing pink" when I have a pink shirt on.

Gimmicks and peacocking might get you looked at, but long term confidence comes only through upgrading yourself and practice.

I agree with saying hello to EVERY woman you see for a certain period of time. After a while of putting this into practice your confidence will SOAR. Doing this will help you subconsciously realize that her response usually depends MORE on your demeanor. You also must find ways to upgrade yourself: modeling successful people, taking up a new trade, stepping up your appearance and hygiene, and more.

I'll actually be discussing "How to be more Confident around Women" on my weekly show tonight (Sunday 10PM EST / 7PM ST). Check it out if you can catch it: http://www.theFLYstream.tk
