It seems like bigger men (not just muscular, but big) get more women.

I'm taller than most women (5'10''), but at 142lbs...I'm thin. I would love to be 175lbs. I really believe getting bigger will help my confidence and get more attention from women (I have an attractive face). I'm okay now with women, but I think there will be a noticeable improvement with some weight gain.

But I'm the kind of guy that if he eats little for one day, I lose two pounds. I can lose 7lbs in one week if I skip meals. The most I weighed was 155lbs, and that's when I spent two weeks in jail and came home eating everything in sight. As soon as I stopped, I dropped back down to the low 140's.

I know my body can gain weight, but it seems like I will always have to eat like a pig to maintain it.

I need help from someone who is/was in my boat.

1. How can fat people eat very little but still stay fat?

2. I'm not a good cook. I don't like cooking. But I'm open to cooking four or five different meals that I can rotate throughout the week, that will give me all the necessary fuel and calories to gain weight.

3. Lunch is a bad time for me. I work out in the field, so I can't bring lunch in from home and sometimes the projects I work on forces me to skip lunch. What can I eat between meals that's high in calories and other nutrients that will keep my body from taking away from itself?

I'm totally okay eating the same kinds of food. I'm a picky eater. I like beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and some fish. I love noodles and rice (brown and white). I like potatoes. The only veggies I can eat are string beans, broccoli, carrots, and spinach. I'm not a big sandwich eater (except for cheese steak).

Can anyone help me?

I'm 25 years old and have maintained a weight of 140 - 143 lbs since high school.

This is what i ate everyday and i put on 20 pounds in 8 weeks, not all muscle.

2 bananas, 1 cliff bar, 2 true mass weight gainer shakes w milk, 2 whey protein shakes w milk, 1 chicken breast, 2 cans of tuna, healthy choice meal, school lunch, footlong turkey sub loaded, spinach salad organic, tons of water.

this has about 300 grams of protein and 4,500 calories.

my workout- chest and bi- HEAVY, tri shoulders HEAVY, and legs back HEAVY. 2 days off and repeat.

i agree with what you said about girls liking bigger guys, when i go to the bar/club the guys who are tall with nice arms get all the looks. Not saying thats the only reason why i work out, but it is one reason. I want to bench 300 pounds.

Watch shows like (mtv's jersey shore) some guy called "the situation" is goofy looking but is HUGE and gets all the girls. Don't do it for the girls. though.

Yours is a problem most Guys would love to have,you are slim and healthy......You will never be a big bloke,its not in your genes,even getting bigger will be difficult....not impossible just difficult....Your problem is not putting on weight,but getting self confidence....Sure bulking up a bit does really help,but in terms of time spent to results gained,spend enough time in the gym or wherever to maintain fitness then learn to dance,slim guys like you are just made to dance,then you will really meet the Ladies....Men who dance pull Ladies.

You just have to experiment and figure out what you like to eat. You can eat the same thing over and over, but you will get tired of it. You don't have to cook any meals. I never do really. Do some research and learn the benefits of different kinds of foods. It isn't really a black and white type subject. There are tons of free meal plans on the internet, but I think it is mostly gross **** and I personally don't want to go through the trouble of cooking a bunch of meals everyday. They could give you ideas on how to eat though.

If you want to just gain weight cheaply you could GOMAD. That's drink a gallon of milk a day. 1400-2500 calories in a gallon. Pretty hardcore, but if you want to gain weight...

I have to disagree with this mindset that people are set into different roles and types.

ANYONE can get big, unless they have severely impairing genes or a disability. All it takes is a lot of elbow grease and eating.

Anyone who squats heavy and eats heavy WILL get bigger, so don't be discouraged from getting muscular, when there are so many benefits.

The weight problem the OP has is that he hardly eats anything, I'm guessing under 3000 calories a day, which means he will find it hard to put on weight, and also he does not lift weights, so he will never put on muscle by eating alone.

Be prepared for a lot of hard work. You will need to be determined and strong willed, but the pay off will be incredible. Alongside finding out about sosuave.com, I'd rate doing weightlifting equally as life changing for me.

Is that GOMAD diet safe? How about a half a gallon plus more food at meal times?

Also, I'm not stick thin. I have muscles and cut. I'm glad that I don't look bony.

Gomad is safe

GOMAD is safe, we wouldn't feed our babies with milk if it wasn't.

And GOMAD is better than half GOMAD + more food because:

- It's easier to digest liquid food than solid food.
- Milk is high in protein and saturated fat which increase your testosterone levels (more muscles!).
- It is cheap

Yeah GOMAD is safe, I've done it and it works wonders.

Just make sure you don't do it more than 2 months though.

Also GOMAD is NOT a replacement for food, but merely an additional to a large diet (harrowing thought eh).

mate I am/was in the exact same position as you.
I am 5' 10" and was about 135lb most of my adult life.

Ive been eating loads of extra meat and 4 pints whole milk per day for the last 6 months or so, combined with Rippetoes Starting Strength beginner program. Now Im pushing 160lb and 14 odd lbs's of that gain has been the last 5 months.

So it IS possible.

for general weight gain, try to eat more, more often. Especially more meat. Drink at least 4 pints whole milk per day in addition.
For your lunch, can you take a bag of peanuts with you? 100g packs in over 600 calories! Also, why exactly cant you take your lunch with you?
