I recently went through a terrible break up, lost my closest friends, got my license suspended. I also havent been very busy this summer since I only work a part time job and not going to school for the semester. Its been brutal for about 3 months. Ive done alot of sitting around and over thinking. However I realize its time to rebuild myself. My goals by January are the following:

- Hit the gym 4 times a week and reach muscle aesthetics by January. Im already naturally thin and toned but in 5 months time I want to be able to stand out.

- Find a good full time job making atleast 15 an hour. I currently go to school but will be done with associates by December. Full time job this year is impossible.

- Buy a better car. Want to get infinity g37 coupe all black.

- Buy a house and move out of parents house in January. I currently have enough money saved up for a down payment. I wont qualify for a loan until I get the full time job.

Those are my 4 goals and plan to really focus and work for the remainding of the year. Im 20 years old and experienced a very painful break up with a woman who is very promiscous and know isnt really a good catch. She started dating a friend of mine after me and has been a painful blow. Is having a mental competetion with him to be better than him a good idea or should I just focus on myself?. It kinda fuels me to work harder but i dont think its healthy.

Anyways, what do you bros think? Are these good goals to have and will achieving all this make me more attractive to women? I wanna hear DJ feedback and advice.

I don't quite understand. Is this a self-improvement thread? Are you doing this for yourself, or are you seeking validation from women?

Attractiveness comes within my friend. There are guys out there with no sense of fashion, still live with their parents, no job, no sense of fashion, out of shape but still manage to pull girls.

But I'm not knocking your goals. Shoot for the stars my friend. Just remember you're doing this for yourself and no one else. If you're doing this for women, then the ambition towards your goals won't last long.
