Just went to go see "300" last night. Pretty intense battle scenes. I've been looking forward to this movie because I workout out according to the Crossfit principle (www.crossfit.com). Focuses mainly on athletic training and getting stronger. Different workout everyday focused on basics. Pullups, pushups, dips, deads, overhead press and squats. For you strength guys, Mark Rippetoe strongly pushes Crossfit.
Anyway. The 300 guys have amazing physiques and trained with Mark Twight. A former Crossfit coach that started his own gym, Gym Jones or something like that. If you are interested scroll down to Video Journal 3 "Spartan Training"
