If she does come back around after a while on her own (i don't contact those types) and says she wants to try again, I won't repeat a FRI/SAT meet, she'll be stuck going out with me on other days until she proves she's really interested.
On this second round, in most cases, the girl will balk at me not providing a FRI/SAT meet date so I drop her completely because it's obvious what she's up to. Not only that, she's showing her character to be very bad compared to the first just "call me that day...", that could mean anything. Ex BF just showed up, she has another possible date, whatever, that's fine. But, when she comes after me when I already did the "this isn't going to work" bit, and then dictates FRI/SAT then she's just a biatch that's targeted me to be one of her backups.

A woman is telling the guy "i'm not interested" by doing that.
1.) Even thou he asked her out, SHE still wants HIM to confirm the date. (and i don't think the other way around is any better)
2.) Anything can happen between the day you asked her out and the day you call to confirm (for the guy and for the girl).
3.) Why would she want time to pass for the guy or herself on the "day to confirm" to be busy?
4.) You're basically asking her out again but wanting the date to happen the same day.
