20's meeting 30's-40's at bars...

This isn't one of those "I need help" threads, but more like an observation. I'm 26 and I prefer to date women who are in their 30's because they don't b.s. as much as women in their 20's. I went to a bar last night and had good conversation with 2 women, one was 38 and one was over 40. It was weird but I've never been that successful with meeting more than one at a time, although I have dated women within that range before.

I just have to say that I dressed well (nice dress shirt, slacks and dress shoes), I relaxed and I didn't get freaked out and I had no problem getting into a good conversation with them.

One just happened to sit down next to me, and the other one was making eyes at me while I was talking to the first one. I even kissed the second one twice before the end of the night (I had no intention of taking her home, so I didn't try it).

Have any of you mid-20's DJ's had success talking up older women in clubs, nightspots or neighborhood bars?

This is a well known secret of us 30-somethings. Isn't it wonderful having not to wade through a bunch of BS? The problem is that baggage replaces the BS. You tend to meet up with women already having children and/or preconceptions about how most men are dogs. However, they do let you know these things up front you it's easy to next them whenever necessary.

I love older women, but I have a hard time closing them. My guess is they can't understand why a younger guy would be interested in them, so their defenses go up because they figure I just want to screw and be on my way... And they're right!!!

Anyway, any tips on how to break these old broads down would be much appreciated... and please don't start spewing DJ Bible material at me either.

Romance them. I don't mean spending tons of money on them either. Make them feel desired while making them laugh. Put their emotions on ****y/funny/romantic roller coaster and you will be well on your way.

Oh yeah, never talk about age. As soon as it is mentioned, they will feel that you see them primarily as an older woman. It's probably because it is foremost in their mind. Your job is to basically make them forget that.

Thanks Franco... good tip about not talking about the age thing... I think that may have been my greatest folly until now, the age gap thing was always the foremost topic of conversation. I'll make sure to swerve the dialogue away from that from now on.

Or you can lie about your age and say your older. I did that one time and she still said i was too young!

I have really young face too. How do I convince the woman that I am 37yrs old? Should I reveal my age? I look younger than all the women at that age.

I figure that the best way to get them to forget about age is to let them know that you're stable. Like me, for instance, I own my car (it's old), I have my own place, I work full-time. Once you make them aware that you're not digging for gold, they tend to take you more seriously when having a conversation. And you might be able to close them.

older women don't care about age or status as much. just s-ex 'em up. that's what they usually want. older=hornier and less inhibited
