Consice and to the point.

Take your rightful role as men.

1- Men quit easily
2- Men can't handle criticism
3- Men complain
4- Men groom like women
5- Men talk about their feelings
6- Men side with feminists
7- Men embrace unmanly trends
8- Men are useless
9- Men are afraid to tell someone off
10- Men take over women's roles
11- Men watch too much Oprah
12- Men are whipped
These are headlines of the link provided above.

Stop whining, complaining about how hard X, Y, or Z is. Suck it up and keep trying till it works. And if it doesn't, try harder.

Sh!t. That's fvcken great coming from a site like that.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

Ehhh

I agree with pretty much all of it and most guys would do well to listen to the "toughen up" stuff but...

7- Men embrace unmanly trends
Being a metrosexual, meditating, being a vegan, being anti-spider killing, being a stronzo, a Tom Cruise fan, whatever, all people who follow any of these things should be gathered up, put on an island north of Siberia, and allowed to pursue their interests in the comfort of their fellow sissy males.
Since when did quieting your mind from the daily bombardment of media conditioning and useless thoughts make you a pvssy? Last time I checked meditation wasn't the rave with the all kids...but The Godfather and Scarface pesudo gangster talk sure was.

Also we better watch out for those anti-spider killing metrosexual vegans, they'll be the death of us.

Don't follow trends women like (yoga is out, boys)...
Yeah don't follow trends! Think for yourself and listen to me. Listen, there are forms of Yoga that require a level of strenght, concentration and fitness that is quite incredible and very out of reach for the majority of todays obese sedentary masses. It ain't no chick Yoga (but even that wouldn't be bad for the painfully sedentary) and quite frankly if you find yourself in a Yoga class full of women because you thought it was the thing to do chances are you didn't fancy the female sex very much to begin with.

Everything else is pretty much spot on. I just have a problem when people use stereotypes that are fed to them from one source as their argument against that stereotype. Just a pet peeve, that and the mafioso BS. Makes it read like a high school newspaper.

askmen tends to be a lot of weak *****-male stuff
This is some of the best stuff I've seen on there.

I disagree with "When I hear about some clown launching a sexual harassment lawsuit against some female colleague, I want to hunt down the guy and take him to Lucca's Meat Market to show him what real sexual harassment is. We've become rompipalles (ball breakers). We've become selfish pigs, not doing anything without selfish gain." (from #3, Men complain)

women need to know that men can play the "sexual harassment" card too, so they dont get all high-and-mighty.

most of the info on there is right on though :cheer:

askmen.com, the equivalent to bbing.com or men's health magazine.. lol. the usual macho, commercial crap written by a buck sixty loser who owns more feet than he's had girlfriends. there's being a man on one hand, and there's absolute bollocks on the other.

personally, I've never killed a spider in my life! they're cute lil thangs. and I do think there's something to meditation although I confess I've never had the patience to try it.

What happened to the REAL virtues of being a gentleman? Self-respect, dignity, confidence, strength, courage, determination (okay that might be covered in point one), pride, chivalry, charm, integrity, reliability, trust-worthiness? Don't see the article mentioning any of that. Just plenty of anti-metro, anti-feminism stuff. Who cares about that? It's yourself you should be interested in.

These articles for the most part, tell you what you want to hear and just regurgitate the same old stuff. The female equivalent to Cosmopolitan or whatever.

You should be squatting instead of reading that stuff. lol.

crap. its good advice. i believe what he said is what mens should be like. i have been there. especially the part about vanity. it blocks a mans mind and goals a real man should be outt there trying to better himself and make money. not dwell on looking like a metro. no ones saying you should look like a bum but look clean. but some men wont step out of their homes to the small store. except they think they wear expensive stuff. if you call that being a man then you need some whipping. all he is trying to say is do the normal things men do and dont feel bad for doing it. some men will not even grow a stuble because they think women will hate them. men these days need as much help as they can get. askmen.com can be a joke.but this particular one is good. men today are sissys and its a fact. by the way meditation and yoga is for fags.

It's not good advice, most of it is rhetoric vague and we must understand that not ALL men are robots like the author for AskMen

1- Men quit easily : Wrong advice -1 for Askmen

2- Men can't handle criticism : Good

3- Men complain : Wrong advice -1 for Askmen

4- Men groom like women : Wrong advice -1 for Askmen

5- Men talk about their feelings : Good

6- Men side with feminists : Good

7- Men embrace unmanly trends: Wrong advice -1 for Askmen

8- Men are useless : -0.5 for Askmen

9- Men are afraid to tell someone off: Good

10- Men take over women's roles : -1 for Askmen

11- Men watch too much Oprah : -1 for Askmen

12- Men are whipped : Good

To tally it up, the author's message is about 50% valid.

More people should be listening to Warboss Alex. The advice he gives (not just limited to weight lifting ) is really spot on, and his the mindset is golden. But why do that when you can do the DJ equivalent of endless dumbbell curl's and get that ego pump I guess.
