Just finished up the latest season of love is blind. These shows are a fascinating look into the state of modern “relationships.” For starters, all of the women on the show are over 27. Most are in their 30s. Some are pushing 40.

One of the female cast members (36 y/o) laments that every guy she’s ever dated has cheated on her. Naturally, her match on the show gets caught sexting another broad.

Several other female cast members had similar stories not overtly with cheating but with being routinely “heartbroken.”

Ladies, if every man you date does the same thing, the problem is not the men….

Western women have a serious expectation problem. They have no idea who men are.

Yeah, "reality" TV offers us a remarkably accurate view of everything from dating to the realities of teen motherhood, same way John Woo movies provided us with a frank look at the inner workings of The Hong Kong PD and The Triads. Productions such as these don't go out of their way to accentuate and exaggerate, all for the sake of drama
