I had a near death experience with food poisoning myself. I was sick for a week and a half and had seizures. At one point I really thought I was going to die. That experience really made me focus on my life goals.
I like to be around young, smart people and like to do something active. Play volleyball, shoot pool, etc. I have some ideas about how to do this but I want to see other people's take.
I've noticed this more and more over time. Young women in particular, and especially if the woman doesn't like you. In response I give myself a smirk in proportion to how overt the negging is to indicate how petty I think that attitude is.
