Baggy pants? I would actually find it attractive if she was teaching a Philosophy class or an art teacher of some kind…and happens to wear baggy pants..lol.

This thread seems a bit ridiculous to me.

Dallas women don't tend to wear baggy pants. There might be some subculture around Dallas where women would wear baggy pants but I've never seen it in all the years I've lived here.

Dallas women are into looking good and presenting themselves well. Baggy pants aren't going to do that for them.

Awhile back, there was a vanishingly small clique of women who emulated Billie Ellish and the likes fondness for baggy garb. As you say though, this wasn't most chicks

I can't go back to 2004 even if I wanted to do that. I need to create solutions for the present time, not daydream about a period that I can't re-create now.

Everything Henley observes is just as true for us today as it was for Boomers in The 80s, making peace with the fact that their adolescence might as well be a different planet, compared to the world they found themselves in then

They had to get on with life ultimately, as do we

Sometimes you wear stuff to actively downplay your curves to discourage unwanted attention. There were nights for example I'd want to relax, chill with friends & not be in heels and a mini skirt at the club, just dance & enjoy the music. Those were baggy pants nights.

My idea of baggy pants are linen. Drawstring, low slung & relaxed. Simple flowy and unrestrictive. Solid white or neutral colors. Beachy. Artsy, Sexy in an unfussy way. Easy to dance in.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

I hate it because baggy pants ruin the view of her backside.

There's a beautiful female coworker (maybe 26 or so) who ruins her beauty by wearing baggy pants.

Count yourself lucky if you never see broads wearing baggy pants.

Even though where I live is also known for vanity, baggy pants are disappointingly common among younger broads.

Where I live, I tend to come into contact with some of the trendiest Gen Zers. Perhaps that's why it appears super common to me.

Half the guys on this site bytch that women receive too much attention just for looking good. Then when chicks wear baggy pants it doesn't look good enough for them.

Guys, women can get attention at whenever they want. Throwing on a pair of baggy pants means she doesn't give a fukk that particular day. Could be on her period too. She will still get attention so it's not going to break her heart if you don't like her pants.

You're right, we don't like how much attention broads get (compared to how little attention we get). We still like to check out her backside, however (which is impossible when she's wearing baggy pants)

Yes, it would mean she doesn't give a fukk in person that particular day.

However, most women would likely have a day where they did care about how they looked and put up sexy pics on Instagram or a swipe app from those days. Even on days where she isn't feeling it in real life, she's getting hundreds of men swiping right on her, contacting her on her in-app inbox on the swipe app, and also sending her DMs on Instagram.

"Boys of Summer" came out in October 1984 and Henley was born in July 1947.

"Boys of Summer" might be a reflection of how late 1940s/early 1950s born Boomers were feeling in the mid-1980s between their mid 30s and age 40.

If someone could re-create "Boys of Summer" in 2024-2025, it might catch on with the feelings 1981-1989 born Millennials are feeling right now.

Some lyrics would stay the same but others would change. The lyric of a "DeadHead sticker on a Cadillac" (Grateful Dead bumper sticker) is a dated lyric that would mean nothing to a 1980s born Millennial.

The best part of this thread is @GoodMan32 using the phrase “broads.” Something my grandpa would have said, love it. Each year the trends change and eventually comes back as something “new.” Still waiting for parachute pants from the 80’s to come back. Women have different drivers for what they choose to wear, guys are more simple. It might be some lame trend that they saw on social media or she is toning it down to not draw attention, whatever.

I like to see a woman in a dress, symbol of femininity to me. Those seem to be rare these days. The mystery of what is hiding beneath adds to the appeal. But that is probably some type of patriarchal oppression thing now, woman don’t want to do things for men anymore, lol.

Yesterday a young coworker had on some amazing jeans, looked like they were chiseled out of stone. So much better than that baggy stuff.

And those who are deep into their 30s and 40s now are making peace with the fact that the world is not what it was in The 90s and 2000s

I can relate. I'm 41 and can see some changes from the 2000s. The 2000s doesn't seem like it was that long ago at times. Some days it feels like it was yesterday when it was 2005 and I was a new college graduate.

I like to see a woman in a dress, symbol of femininity to me. Those seem to be rare these days. The mystery of what is hiding beneath adds to the appeal. But that is probably some type of patriarchal oppression thing now, woman don’t want to do things for men anymore, lol.
There are women that still wear dresses. A lot of the dresses now are provocative and revealing.

I see women now being far more into Lululemon exercise wear and athleisure than baggy pants. I have gone to many fitness classes in recent years and see Lululemon logos all over the place.

Women also enjoy showing off their physiques and getting attention on the general gym floor too.

I spend a decent amount of time exercising so this is what I see.

For an example of a more recent (comparatively) song, the music video for Wake Me Up When September Ends was shot when Billie Joe Armstrong was the age I currently am (33). He's now 52.

Feels like just yesterday. Serves as a reminder of how quickly people age.

To tie this into the topic of getting a woman, it's mind-blowing to think many a woman who was born the same year as Billie (1972, putting the woman in my target demographic) would write me off as "too young," yet a song from when those 1972-born broads were my age feels like it came out just yesterday.

1972-born broads
The typical 1972 born woman is seeking a man born in 1965-1972.

There are enough 1965-1972 born betas/simps out there for them. These are the pussie beggars who end up settling for them, even if they'd rather someone much younger.

In general, 1972 born women are yesterday's news. Despite the fact that they are yesterday's news, they are still pursued heavily by similarly aged betas/simps (often online).

Rebecca Romijn was born in 1972 as an example. Romijn was a top supermodel in the late 1990s and still getting work into the early 2000s. She was on the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue in 1999. Her looks have declined substantially since the late 1990s/early 2000s.

I read somewhere that whatever the world was like when you were 15 ends up becoming your idea of how it's supposed to be.

I turned 15 in 2006.

I'd love to return to 2006. Swipe apps didn't exist yet (so broads couldn't get thousands of suitors). The earbud problem @SW15 has mentioned was way less prevalent in 2006.

All in all, if it could stay 2006 forever, I'd have better luck. Even though I wouldn't slay, I could at least have decent success from daygame.
