Good to see you back Pierce but I gotta disagree here, while I understand the premise of having your standards and I'm all for men having them! it's kind of cringe, this is going to turn off most women, especially on OLD, the only way I can see a guy get away with this, is if he's got the Henry Cavil gaze (meaning he's a top-tier LOOKING guy) for a regula looking guy, with a thin mustache making 40K a year women will just laugh at these things as you can see from the comments

Does this mean as a man you can't have standards? of course not but as a man especially if you're doing OLD there should be tact women on these dating profiles now a days will report for anything out of spite. Plus by writing these things notice how people are calling him "angry" and "incel" there is a way you can have your standards being conveyed with tact. You also have groups like "Are We dating the same guy" which is now city-based, why tarnish your reputation? like the law of power, you have to guard your reputation with everything. If the guy who wrote this is truly a top tier dude (for lack of veribage) women will come correct. The fact that he has to type all of this out he's basically guaranteeing that he won't win. I've learned you attract more bee's (women) with honey than vinegar once you attract the bee than you can tactfully decree your boundaries and standards

Just my thoughts

I was about to send the troops to hunt you down, glad you came back.

I love the profile. My thoughts exactly. Years ago I wrote a similar profile on Match. I dropped my thoughts in regards to women which included social media, tats, drama, careers, cooking/cleaning skills, etc. Some hated me for it, some couldn't relate at all, but there was another group that thought it was beautiful. They realized I understood women, and wasn't afraid to deter the ones I wasn't looking for.

There is still a small group of women that this will profile will resonate with. I commend the guy for having the balls and standards to do it. Thats the only way we will ever change things.

@Solomon - The ones it will turn off don't matter anyways. Let the haters hate. ITs time men raise the bar.

Uhh, I can't tell if you're serious, and it seems that I'm in the minority here - but this manifesto is laughably unhinged.

This has the same energy as when girls used to put together those dating powerpoints or the 6 foot/6 pack/6 figures requirements. It's almost word-for-word the exact doctrines espoused by red pill gurus who are always hypocritical when it comes to practicing what they preach (Fresh & Fit, No Fugazee, whatever podcast guy who doesn't believe in divorce but abuses women, etc).

Unless this guy is at Andrew Tate levels of "high-value man" (and let's be honest - if he was, he wouldn't be laying out his Match.com qualifications on Reddit) there's no way anybody reads this without realizing this person is going to hold a magnifying glass to THEIR life, but not HIS - notice how he speaks about demanding traditionalism when it comes to chores, but also that his woman financially contributes proportionally to what she makes.

This guy is getting ratio'd so hard in the comments, and deservedly so. Men should have standards, especially when it comes to long-term relationships, but this would be like a job recruiter demanding training and certifications before you even know if you want the job.

I think that Reddit post is ridiculous. Seeing as it's his one and only post over the 4 year age of the account, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just rage bait.

Channel your excited feelings into positive thoughts and behaviors. You will attract women by being enthusiastic, radiating energy, and becoming someone who is fun to be around.

I would usually agree with you brother but not this time. Most women when it comes to OLD are going to judge this guy harshley you have to remember there a lot of weirdos that women deal with when it comes to OLD, having a link to a reddit post and making these demands. To most women screams "weirdo" Good luck like I said before unless the guy looks like Henry Cavil he will scare of 99% of women including decent women, the only type that may fall for this is one who is desperate or thristy to prove they are different and most likely he wouldn't go far anyway due to her looking like his homley Aunt from 1888

Not surprised most likely it didn't work for him or his dating profile may have been flagged lmfao

Thanks for the welcome back, the new job is demanding af, but I’m surrounded by GenZ women which have prompted the guys emotional vomitI guess what I meant to say was that the guy said all the things that we discussed on a regular basis but no one really ever says out loud. Of course it’s rage bait! And of course, this guy isn’t getting any leg because of it.

They claim to be more conservative-in the Regan-esque sense*-than those purple haired Millenial nutjobs, yet are still just as easily offended by every f*cking thing, in other words

*On 2nd thought, these Gen Z chicks aren't being disingenuous.... The 80s were the decade which saw the advent of The PMRC https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parents_Music_Resource_Center , and the seeds of "Cancel Culture" being planted. The constriction of free speech in America was perhaps the 20th Century's most successful bi-partisan effort

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I don't have a problem with someone that states up front what they are looking for, if the intent is finding a long-term partner.

I have a different approach. For me it all "let's have fun", in the process of having fun doing what I like to do, if a woman aligns with my values, she likes what I plan, and we BOTH fit each other... and there is a potential to move towards a LTR, then fine... I'll consider that.

It's all mystery and exploration. The minute it stops being fun, and starts to look more like work... or I discover something that I just don't like, I move on... and I expect the women I date are doing the same thing. To me telling someone what I want just jumps to the end of the story, it's like reading a mystery, knowing who-done-it then going back and reading the book.

If you tell someone up front what you want and need, then they know what you are looking for, and might just be pretending to fit... then the dating process is 'work', since at that point you are looking for clues to see if they are lying. To me that isn't much fun.
