If you say so. I haven’t looked except the other week it didn’t appear BRK/B was any better than the Spx.Check your sources - that's false. They have "90 PhDs in mathematics, physics, computer science, and related fields", not just "astrophysicists" as you claim.

If you are a momentum investor, just say that. Momentum investors do not rely to "Newton's first law" like you do. Investing is far more speculative than the laws of physics, so that is still a very ignorant claim to make - and one you have not admitted is wrong.
To claim Berkshire isn't beating the S&P 500, you have to limit yourself to only 10 and 15 year performance. Berkshire Hathaway does better than the S&P 500 during crashes, like 2007-2009. From Nov 2009 to now, the S&P 500 has pulled ahead by 0.2%/year. But if you look back 20, 30 or 50 years, Berkshire is ahead. If you look at the past 3 or 5 years, Berkshire is ahead.
That doesn’t change the fact that Simons smoked Buffett like a blunt over that time period. It’s just that he didn’t go through the McDonald’s every morning and order a Big Mac and a coke and puff his book on cnbc twice a month while doing it
