Really the only thing you can discern from this is a woman with large tats has a high tolerance of pain and is not afraid of needles. In addition, she is not afraid to commit to something she cannot change. Take from that what you will. I don't have tats mostly because the idea of putting something on my body that I can't change bothers me the same way I wouldn't wear the same suit day in and day out. I guess if I ever got one, it would be on my back so I don't have to look at it every day.

I don't find large tats particularly attractive, but it isn't a complete turn off. I've dated women with large tats... I really don't think they are that much different than any other woman. All women have at least some amount of damage... but fvck... so do I. You can't drive a car without getting dings and dents.
I don't have any tats either mostly for the same reason.
Question for you Gentlemen: One of my plates that I am spinning presently is older... just turned 64.. I and 68. She is attractive, intelligent (she is a RN & IT specialist) fit, nice ass, big tits (pretty sure the best $ can buy) and we have a great time when we are together. On our 1st date she showed me a picture of her getting a tat on her chest..just below her tits. And ask me to get one with her. She has 2 tats on her right arm and a small one on her back. She had been married for 30+ years and got divorced about 4 years ago. The tats are resent.
Ok the question is Why would a women that age get a tat? As I said she is attractive, smart and really doesn't need to do that IMO.

Contrary to the common perceptions held by those without tattoos, these tattoos can embody profound significance for many individuals. While for some, tattoos serve as a medium for drawing attention or making a distinctive personal statement, others view them as a powerful expression of self-autonomy and control over their bodies. Getting tattooed can also evolve into a ritualistic experience deeply rooted in personal or cultural significance. On the other hand, there are instances where tattoos are adopted as a fashion trend, often characterized by an assortment of small, seemingly unconnected designs that might lack personal meaning. This trend reflects a different approach to tattoos, where the emphasis is more on style and contemporaneity than on personal symbolism.

Dude, I guarantee you that this 50-something I'm banging has a tighter, sexier body than 90% of the chicks you've slept with. Not the rule but the exception. Would the 20-something version of her be hotter? Yes. But shes a smokeshow as she stands right now.

You youngsters...

Yes, she was a figure competitor and is a gymnast.

If 64 works for him, why do you give a rat's hindquarters?

And you're a youngster and inexperienced, and having sex with children. Frankly, I don't care where you stick your pud as long as it works for you. FYI: FSU chicks aren't all that, either, you need to get out more.

Again, Why do you care if the guy is happy with what he's doing? Why do you find it necessary to comment on his choice of woman? Does it make you feel better about yourself? Save your vitriol for another forum.

Of course she doesn't need to have tats. Nobody needs tats, you get tats because you want them.

As long as her skin is still able to handle getting tattooed, she probably wants to get tattoos for personal reasons, she has the money and she doesn't need approval or validation anymore.

Two women (that I know of) have taken tattoos to commemorate their dedication to me. I didn't ask for the honour. One came to me with her tattoo; the other wanted me to come with her to the tattoo artist.

Most people I know have tattoos for personal reasons, as do I. My tattoos are to mark a particular experience or phase in my life and IDGAF what somebody else thinks of them.

That's pretty normal for someone. Most people seriously date someone within 5 years of their own age. It's more difficult to date some 5-9 years older and even more difficult than that to date someone 10+ years older. The reality for most men is that they'll be dating some older lady as they age.

I understand where you are coming from. I was once 37. At our age we are both blessed with good genes, I guess. And we have taken care of ourselves as we have gotten older. Neither one of us look our age. I've been told that I look 10 years younger than I am. Even this gal thought I was 58-59 when we meet for the first time. I meet her on Ourtime dating app. 50 and older. You should see some of the women who have "liked" me..... some of them that are young 50s obviously did NOT take care of themselves...wow. However there are some very attractive women on the site also. "Curvy" is one of them. (the name has been change to protect the innocent...ME!)

My original question was meant to get an opinion from you gentlemen on should I see the tats as some sort of red-flag. My thinking is after 30+ years of marriage she is trying to "catch up" so to speak.
What say you Gentlemen?

I’d say most of the late onset tattoos, especially after a long marriage is a way for them to “break out of the mold”, feeling footloose and fancy-free after a long relationship. You said she’s got a great physique, and sometimes it’s about wanting to show off their bodies.

Unlike many here, I do not feel that a few discrete tats on a chick is a red flag. Now, it’s my personal opinion that sleeves and visible tats are more about attention getting mechanisms than anything else.

If she’s a gym bunny or has many much younger female friends it may just be a cultural thing. Women, by nature are joiners and affected often by peer groups and trends.

Thanks. That is very insightful. I appreciate the input.

I see a lot of otherwise attractive women on Tinder that have tattoos, and I pretty much put them all into the tramp trash bin.
