You don’t need a six pack but you do need: to be in shape, to have a fun attitude, dress well but not old, and you need to at least give the impression that you make money. Carry cash, nobody their age does (and then make a joke out of that when they ask if you’re 25)

Fratty men with out-of-touch senses of humor no longer drink Bud Light beer.

Bud Light has been canceled because of a feminist, careerist. Ivy League graduate marketer.
Interesting, I didn't know that

At my age 47 damn I don't think I could sustain the level of dieting required to get a six pack, also genetically I think I have a disadvantage when it comes to abs.

However in other areas I am gifted, as my arms, chest and legs develop quite well.

Most girls tend to notice the arms, and believe it or not, thickness of the neck is a turn on for chicks too.

Also:

1. Hands-Arms (Goes together)
2. Acromiovalicular Joint (Specially if you are well ripped)
3. Fingers (Long usually)
4. Neck if it's long

It was a huge news story for months. I'm not sure how you missed that. Bud Light's former VP of Marketing went on some obscure podcast and insulted all of Bud Light's existing customers while also taking actions to associate the Bud Light brand with woke ideologies.

Oh, I don't follow the news. That's pretty crazy.

These type of threads are always ridiculous because it contradicts how you dress.
Your six pack abs won't be noticable unless you wear a tank top or live by the beach.

Meanwhile in other threads people talk about getting younger girls by dressing sharp. This typically means long sleeve collared shirt or suit jacket, which is a complete polar opposite of wearing a tank top and jeans.

Dressing sharp means no one can see abs.
It's catch-22

Cope. If your in good shape with abs it’ll show through your clothes. A fit man in basic clothing will beat a fat guy in gucci

Agreed.

Abs = low body fat which means you'll look good in clothes, you'll move well, your face will be lean, you'll feel confident.

Being in shape is always a winner.

You do not need abs to get women and the maintenance work in abs is not worth the juice.

Well, you don't need abs to get women, this is true. My point is that it helps inasmuch as having abs means that you're body fat is low, you'll look good and probably feel better as well - all of which are plus points. But there are lots of other things which help too, I get that.

Personal experience: I have kinda big arms, shoulders and back. From what I have been told, that has always been a good thing those areas are what they grab when we are first starting to get to know each other (flirting). I do have abs but I am not super shredded, single digit body fat - and yes, I have been told it is nice when it comes to sexi time. They do find it appealing and grab/run their hands over.

The moral of the story is you should be in shape / look to get into shape if you aren't. In addition to hitting the gym / taking up sport or however you want to do it, wear flattering clothes - not just colors that work with your skin tone, but also fit right. I grew up during the period where baggy was in and some of those pictures look ****in ridiculous looking back now. Most of my clothes now are fitted (my suits) - for tshirts and sport shirts I usually get the 'slim fit' as opposed to regular. It makes a difference the way it clings to you - if you have muscles they show and it is a turn on to women. The oblivious, likely fat **** guys that say being in shape doesn't matter --- you agree a woman with a killer body looks much hotter in tight, form fitting clothes? Leggings/Athleisure Wear, dresses to the club...if this is the case why wouldn't the opposite be true?

You will look good, but not feel good mentally and physically. Low body fat doesn’t mean healthy. My gym performance was always lackluster, I had ED issues come up, and I was constantly stressed about calories in vs calories out. The much better approach is 13-16% body fat IMHO. You look still decent and don’t have the cons with it.

Another thread where folks don't know the difference between "needing" something and something simply being advantageous. I'm pretty sure OP ain't saying it's essential.
