Invited to my first "latex" party. Not sure what it is

I been invited to alot of different parties in my time.. house parties, "daytimes", warehouse parties, "blackout" parties, juke parties, raves, big event parties, corporate parties, "organized" parties, masquerade parties, industry nights for the club/industry. industry nights for strip club industry, ballroom parties, galas, cigar parties you name it.

But recently one of the guys I met who works for the infamous Tao group invited me to this thing called a Latex Party. (If you heard of Marquee nightclub or Tao, you know what I'm talking about), It's a big hospitality group that runs alot of big major nightclubs and restaurants aroudn the world.. they usually have a slight Thai/Asian flair to them but are really upscale nightlife.

No idea what it is. I asked a few of my guys who I feel are big wigs in the nightclub industry. and the best I gathered is that it's probably related to fetishes, or the kink community. I honestly hope not> I been to some kink parties and while you'll def see hot girls there and some freaky sht, theres usually a buncha creeps and older dudes at them..wihch just kills the vibe.

Knowing this guy, I doubt its that kind of party though.. This dude is a big wig who drives Lamborghinis.. def doesnt seem like hes into any kinks.. But he's been to some of the greatest clubs around the world to party.

It's at the end of the month so, we shall see.

Yeah I ended up finding out its a party where the women dress in latex outfits and the men wear whatever but with a blazer/sports jacket/or suit. Apparently women will be rejected at the door if they're not dressed "sexy" enough and men if they don't dress classy enough.

Nah lol. More like a business type dude, very professional but def a party type guy as well given his industry.

Yeah I been told its going to be pretty wild. Most of the parties where they dont announce the address till the day of tend to be that way.
I already know its going to be in a big hotel though.

I'm going on a yacht party before then though that should be pretty crazy too. 200 people capacity yacht. Pretty chill. The guy whos throwing it owns like 4 diff yachts, he rents them out to large parties in the summer, people do weddings and all on there.

Not sure if anyone cares but .. as an update, I didnt go but it was just basically a party with models wearing sexy/revealing latex outfits and women were required to wear latex and guys were supposed to be in formal attire. Heard it was a good time. If i wasn't out of town i probably would have went.

Another cool party I did go to was a private party for Ralph Lauren. Had ralph lauren models serving drinks (unfortunately male models) all you can drink style.. but female models were present and taking pictures with people and basically just there as eye candy, had nice h'ourderves and sht, was very fancy.. some of the American golf team from the Ryders cup were there.. Was like a formal style party.. very fancy and upscale.. Esquire magazine and some few media outlets were there. I think they were just showing off the new clothing and the new golf attire they designed and then it was just like any other party for adults/upscale..

Really wasn't sht compared to the actual parties I go to.. but it wa sjust cool to be invited to something private

Agree that one could have been cool. I would have been interested had I received an invite to something similar to that.

There are cool private parties going on in my city and I'm never invited to them.
