That's why it's not a good idea to look for romantic relationships in the workplace for white collar workers.
This is exactly why you are 100% right.

Did he do anything wrong by doing what he did? No - of course not. But in our feminized society where men are constantly put on blast over the most innocuous things you have to smart about these situations. It is especially perplexing when guys who probably have endless options like this guy can't help himself. On other hand, he probably never recognized the danger to begin with.

Workplace environments are for work. Anything that happens romantically is you playing Russian Roulette. This should be common sense to people but somehow isn't.

The company only cares about how much of a liability you could be in terms of money you could cost it by your actions.

I dont get it. If you are a CEO of a big company you can get tons, tons of puzzy outside work on the mere fact that you are the CEO of a big company. Why risk it all from some workplace puzzy? Dumb af

my opinion: A lifetime of building up a career can be gone in a flash by going for the gash.
"We are disappointed to share this news with you. We built this company on a culture of integrity. "

lol this is such a stupid response. There is nothing integrity about NBC. There was clearly something else going on here. I am sure this was not the only time he had relations with a girl at the company. In fact, Im pretty sure women were throwing themselves at him multiple times to get promotions and deals. But once again, the man is punished for being a valuable man.

Agreed, but that’s what they still want us to believe by making that statement …

Yes, but we will likely never know the truth, they don’t usually report things like that …

I think people make mistakes like this out of convenience. He has money for sure but his status exists inside of the company.

So he went for the convenience of women in his work circle.

I see it alot where i work

What's interesting about these cases is that the staff poon never gets fired. She never even gets identified by name. But wouldn't the staff poon be equally responsible for this "inappropriate" workplace relationship? In fact, she probably seduced the geezer in the hope of getting a promotion.

Not necessarily (unless by "outside puzzy" you mean pros). The man is old, fat, and works long hours. Where is he going to meet hot women?

We don't even know what the "inappropriate relationship" was. It might be a regular romantic relationship.

The only guys who can date at work are guys with non-white collar jobs. If you're a 6'0"+ muscular bouncer, you can bang hot strippers or bartenders from your workplace. That's a solid way to do things. Retail workers and gym workers tend to have sex and relationships with each other. The white collar work environment is not conducive to that sort of thing. The best that a man can do in white collar is social circle game. It's a decent idea to get female co-workers to set up dates with their female friends. Other than that, there is no Game in the white collar workplace.

The problem here is that the CEO of any company can not be effective if he/she has no emotional self control. Knowing sh1t like this can get you in trouble... and you do it anyway... it demonstrates the manager is capable of engaging is stupid irrational behavior.

It's not about the 'relationship', it's p1ss poor decision making. At best mixing business with dating will not add anything positive to the company: at worst the company can get hit with lawsuits... blackmail... non-productive chaos. Even a rumor that the boss is having an affair with a sub-ordinate, and that the sub-ordinate is gaining some kind of benefit from the relationship can cause a serious morale problem.

While this is correct in theory - and indeed in an earlier era very productive - it seems that nowadays the only chicks that colleagues (either female colleagues or male colleagues' wives) want to pawn off are the undateables (i.e., obese, single-mommy, etc.); of course for a Chad at the office, the dateables are available, and it is pretty much impossible for a Clark Kent in the office not have oodles of tang get thrown in his face - but barring that, I tend to think it's pretty much OVER for WhiteCollarSocialCircleCels.

A good way for a powerful CEO to derive poon from his workers is to host company parties where everyone gets a few tickets to "bring along a friend". Then the CEO gets to bask in his Alphaness while he could mack the platonic friends of his workers. Problem solved!

Thank you for acknowledging that this is correct in theory.

In practice, I've not known a man who obtained a girlfriend as a result of a introduction by a female colleague to a friend of a said female colleague. My social network is not a representative sample. No one's social circle is a representative sample.

Yes, there are male colleagues with wives. Most wives of male colleagues typically only have married woman friends. It's possible for a wife of a married colleague to still have some single friends if she's newly married (less than 2 years), but even that's a stretch. If she's been married for 2 years, that means she's probably been in a relationship for 4-5 years, meaning her friends are more likely to also be newly marrieds or unmarried couples in LTRs.

An unattached female colleague is more likely to have unattached female friends. They could be goldmines for introductions but there's some evidence that these types of introductions are getting rarer.

I think that most white collar 'Chads' are not going to mess around in their workplace. What incentive is there for him to do that? He's a Chad, he's getting enough poontang from his leisure time efforts with women.

No, I meant Kent's female colleagues would introduce him to their friends.
