For context, I´ve been teaching at a high school that´s owned by the State University for the last decade and a half. Its not uncommon to be walking down the hallways and the students that like you ask you to take a photo with them.
About a couple of years ago I matched with this girl and we went out. Turns out she was kind of a catfish and that should have been the end of the story, but nope. Turns out she was a student at my work, but she was never in any of my groups. Ok, just a coincidence right? Whatever. Next day she texts me "I have a photo of you" and Im like "Wtf? Which one? Send it to me." and she sends me a photo from almost 15 years ago where Im in the hallways with one of my former female students. Turns out Danielle and her were friends, Danielle is probably the one who took the photo of us.
This is getting weirder, why did she never delete the photo? Whatever. Some weeks go by. She texts me "I like you a lot. You are so handsome, bla bla bla" etc. This girl has never passed the boner test. Nothing was possible with her, not LTR, not FWB, nothing. I reply something to let her know Im not reciprocating. She says "Its ok. I just wanted to let you know how I feel about you".
She starts texting me about once a month. Asking how Im doing n stuff. Nothing too annoying. Then one day she sents me a facebook link, Im thinking its a meme or something but it wont open. She says "Let me add you on facebook and send it to your inbox". I dont see a big deal and we ago ahead. I accept her friend request and she sends me the link. As I try to open the link, I also open our inbox and boy was I suprised.
There´s a long conversation between us on the inbox from almost 15 years ago. She reached out to me saying she is not a student of mine but has heard good things about me and she wants to interview me for the school newspaper (where she was supposedly working at the time).
Im like wtf. I "confront" her about this and she says the conversation is not appearing on her inbox and that she doesnt remember any of that. In restrospect, I think we probably dont even have a shcool newspaper.
I never blocked her. Cant remember if she stop texting because she sensed I was too weirded out / creeped out by her or I stop replying.
D@mn. For all I know, worst case scenario this girl could has been obssessed with me for the last decade and a half ever since she too that photo and has been stocking me ever since or something. Or maybe its just a bunch of weird coincidences, you guys tell me.
