I’ve seen this exact photo on several different profiles over time, like its code for something. I’ve done some investigation and cannot figure it out to save my life. Anyone?

This means, sub 5. Fat. Ugly. More honest than a straight up catfish. Be prepared for the worst of the worst .

Or do you/ dont you believe that there's a stunning woman behind that pretty eye, and she will reward the right man for not being a superficial dork who will judge her solely on looks?

The only hidden trend I noticed back in 2017 was overweight girls liking the song "The Shape of You". The song doesn't refer to a specific shape, so any woman could fit themselves into that song. Anything similar happening on Tinder in 2023?
I am seeing lots of women linking to their Instagram pages, and I don't understand why. Yes, for clout. Followers . Will random man really follow her via her tinder profile without even matching?? Women are ruthless as we all know, and any women that's hb7 or up will have tons and tons of pictures and a link to her instagram page.

It's the same ol' same ol'. Few vacation pics, a festival/party, activity as biking, climbing or even boxing nowedays. Yeah, the restaurant sipping wine pic. And ofcourse the " AI smile " or the devil in disguise " fake smile pic. Upcoming seems the straight up back towards the lens - showing azz pictures.

Its all generic AF.

The same picture is posted by different women, some of them quite attractive with great bodies.

AGAIN IT IS THE SAME EXACT PICTURE, OF THE SAME EYE - LITERALLY.

To follow up, it’s the exact same photo on multiple women’s profiles, not an eye pic of the person posting. It has to be code for something, still looking for answers.

A tale, which comes courtesy of Scary for Kids, suggests that the Hello Kitty character may not be as cute and innocent as she seems and it’s all to do with her mouth or lack thereof.

The story claims that Hello Kitty is the result of a deal with the devil after a Chinese woman made a pact with Satan in order to save her daughter who was dying from cancer, specifically a cancer of the mouth.

After worshipping and praying to the devil, he instructs the woman to create the Hello Kitty character in return for saving her daughter’s life.

How legit do the profiles seem otherwise?

So is there a purpose to this thread or are all of you just interested in whining?

Women can post this kind of stuff and still get matches. Deal with it.

A research paper I came across found that young people actually use Tinder for "entertainment", "curiousity", and "socializing" more than hooking up. The paper goes on to list number of times people had sex from using Tinder (~1.5) versus finding friends (2+ I recall).

Since its inception, there is a belief that Tinder is a “hook-up app”, which is mainly used to have casual sex [4]. However, the existing literature refutes this stereotype [10]. For example, Sumter and Vandenbosch [13] referred to young people using Tinder both for relational (e.g., looking for a partner for casual sex or a romantic relationship), intrapersonal (e.g., ease of communication and ego enhancement), and entertainment reasons (e.g., curiosity and trendiness). Thus, it seems that Tinder can serve different purposes, among which, the search for casual sex is only one
