The pic was me at the Gucci store with shopping bag in hand. And I've come to the conclusion that it's very likely the exact same experience women who post thirst trap pics encounter. A bunch of heart emojis and little "hey there" messages from women you don't care about and in my case a little turned off by them. Had maybe 1 I'm attracted to but even then it's like "oh I know why you're messaging me now".

You shoulda put a caption "who want to go shopping".. haha jokes aside, you gotta be careful what type of pics you're posting.. if you want women to see you as a shopping spree, then sure post more pics of yourself holding designer shopping bags..

But, to echo your sentiment women like it when a guy posts things that show value or masculine traits. When I would post pics of me smoking some nice cigar, wearing a brown leather jacket over some nice clothes, nice watch on, id get alot of thirsty girls in my dms. because all of those things exude masculine qualities.. brown leather jackets, cigars, nice watches, these are things most women dont relate to as their mostly masculine things..

Now i don tgo around posting that sh.t all the time though.. But a real thirst trap for women is guys showing off their physique, vascularity in the arms/body but not over the top. its gotta be subtle and well stated.. like wearing a nice fitted shirt that shows the curvature of your arms and definition of your chest is better than full on shirtless flexing hard into a mirror .. now you couple that same fitted shirt with some joggers that show off that manhood print, you'll def have at least 1 or 2 girls ready to hang ou t same night.

I don't disagree with all of this but I like their belts. I wear a suit and tie to work and think their belts stick out nicely. I've received plenty of compliments on one I bought in the past.
Cringe. I also kinda don't believe that you got all those messages, girls legit dgaf about money. One of the biggest misconceptions out there.
They don't as much as guys are led to believe but you being from Cali would know good fashion taste does attract females in places like LA.

Agree money is down the list of factors that come into play. But to say they "don't care" is a stretch - women definitely care about how big your wallet is unless they are strictly looking for a lay -- which I would say is more rare than it is common.

To the OP's point, I actually think this could work in showing a more C&F side of yourself with the shopping bag. Men in general, but especially here at SS, can sometimes become too rigid with our "rules." I say kudos to you for stepping out of the box.

Bruh. No. Wrong.

Money is tops with women. If not outright, they still are drawn to implicit displays of money (social status, dominance, fame, rank in a uniform)

When I was broke, I was pulling lower quality women. A lot of them were really f'd in the head.

Same. Ever since I hit a certain income level I have been able to frequent certain places with higher quality women. It's basic economics.

Basically a store that sells sh!t that costs $50 for $2000. Not sure how people think getting scammed is "in fashion".

I guess showing you have enough money to get scammed is in these days.

Gucci makes nice belts and loafers (something they’ve been known for long before becoming the go to brand for instagrammers and rappers). Celine though? Isn’t that a handbag company?

Yeah I forgot people like rocking those gucci belts.. Over here its more or less young black dudes who like wearing the gucci belts and LV belts.. young dope dealers and sht who want to resemble money. Not a fan of their loafers. I do like YSL / Ferragamo / Tom Ford for loafers/dress shoes.. suit jackets/stuff like that.

I think most designers make handbags these days but I rock with them mostly for the nice jackets/sweaters for men.. Ofc its designer so its pricey ****.. they also do bracelets, wallets, belts stuff like that. I have like like 3 pieces from Celine. Trying to grab another one soon. Its hard to find certain designs though because its like limited quantity. All their sweaters/track jackets/varsity jackets start at $2000+lol. so I think I'm going to chill after buying a 4th article

I think its just popular amongst men who are into designer these days.. stuff like Amiri and Celine is really hot right now. The trends happen because alot of big rappers/artists/celebrities that represent "cool" start wearing it. I buy it for that reason too but I also like some of the designs/quality.
