So as men, we long value how many women a guy has slept with. We consider this as a hallmark for how good a guy is with women or how desirable he is. I am not going to go out and say that lay count means nothing or how men should value actual relationships, that is not the point of my thread. However, I did want to bring up one issue with valuing lay count as I have learned in my recent experience between gaming in two different cities.
Not all lay counts are created equal!
When I was pounding the pavement for a year in Miami, I had inconsistent success with game. I did hit a hot streak in the summer though where daygame netted me 4 lays in that span, I would get a few more after that but it was inconsistent. It took one week in Manhattan for me to get just as many lays. Here is the kicker, America is not even the easiest country I have gamed in. When I was visiting Oslo, Norway during my college days as someone that barely knew about game, I netted two lays in a week and that was barely trying. My friend who was super into game and getting laid netted 5 lays but when he moved back to the US, he could barely get a couple in a week despite his best efforts.
I think of it almost like sports.
I still watch sports a lot even though I have eased off a bit in recent years. Getting a high lay count in a part of the world where the culture is more sexually open and sexually direct is like winning a conference or league that has lackluster competition. For all of my Euro readers on here, it is like winning in a semi-pro world football league.
Getting a high lay count while being in a city or country where the atmosphere is competitive (Australia, Canada, and even many major US cities to a degree) is like winning the English Premier League or the toughest conference in College Football like the SEC (@Jake_Gyllenhaal69 and @Bible_Belt). It is like fighting in a deep and competitive division in boxing when there are other greats and other wolves gunning for your head.
If someone told me that they got a high lay count while living in an Oslo, Paris, Stockholm, or some city in Western Europe with a sexually open culture, I would not look at that as favorably as someone doing the same in a Sydney, Miami, Los Angeles, or Toronto.
I will leave out countries with a repressive culture where you can get killed for sleeping around.
Instead, we need to ask what exactly constitutes their high lay count?
Did they go to a third world country and just sleep with a bunch of hookers?
Did they go to a country where the game is easy and leveraged things such as money and their first world status?
Did they do it all through cold approaching? THAT IS IMPRESSIVE!
Was it through a niche such as being a club owner or something else that would make it woefully easy to sleep with a lot of different women?
Drilling down and asking how they did it and what it constituted of tells you more about a man than the number itself.
