Houses over 20 years old want to know what do you use to get rid of roaches in your place?

Just had to deal with this in one of my rentals. You need to place the Max Force Gel where you see the roaches. You then put down the Advion Bait Stations around where you see the roaches. Lastly, place some Gentrol IGRs around your home. They prevent insects from reproducing.

Max Force Gel
Advion WDG Bait Stations
Gentrol IGR

With this formula, you will get rid of the roaches in no time for under a hundred bucks. Been using this formula for years. One added mention is Suspend SC. great for other insect prevention around the home, inside and out.

What Toad said and also Apline WSG. A borax and sugar solution is also an option.

Had them at a restaurant I used to work at. We had a professional pest control person come in. They put this type of bait around baseboards that blends in and is almost unnoticeable unless you get on your knees and look. They will be gone very quickly. Within a week you will likely not see any.

The problem trying to do it yourself is that you have to kill the live ones and then you have to kill the eggs that hatch ASAP or else they will reproduce again very quickly. If you only bomb once, you will kill the live ones but not the others.

Additionally they are good at hiding places and avoiding the fumes. The bait is slow acting so they eat it then go back to their "nest" and die, then have the other roaches get it because they eat the roach that died.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Here’s the bottom line, they’re coming from somewhere. They don’t appear out of thin air. If you wanna go Rambo on them, find their entry source and block it or you’ll be doing the poison routine forever…

Many years ago I had a cheap ****hole apartment and noticed brillo pads or steel wool stuffed around a sink sewer drain pipe at the wall. I foolishly pulled it out and had 100 uninvited bugs on all the walls come overnite.

Noticed them occasionally in my house two years ago, found out there’s a gap that developed under my door to the garage. Fixed that, poisoned all I could find, but they still came.
They were hatching and surviving like forever under furniture with raised legs and couches.
Any place that stays dark during the day, they breed, survive, and hide out.…

Imo alotta times it also a matter of good or bad hygiene. Even when you keep it clean your neighbors can be the cause you have roaches. Even clean neighbors. Could be as simple always having dog or cat food outside , trash bags ect.

Apartment buildings are the worst . Now you may have 8 possible places they could be coming from. If you are sure you are not the source ,and you and your neighbors are on speaking terms you could ask them if they also noticed the roaches.

So be extremely strict with your cleaning routines. Keep trash far away from your house and invest some money to get professional help. I once rented a place where we got some nasty neighbors and we got roaches. These animals are EXTREMELY sturdy and hard to eradicate.

Find a hole or crack that’s not on a woman and you’ll be getting closer to solving your problem
I'd have to rip out the kitchen cabinets. It's an old house, and so the wall has separated from the cabinets leaving about 1-1/2" gap. And it's cheap particle-board in the back and after I'd plug one hole, the damn mouse would chew another one.:mad::mad: I've been away GeoMaxxing, but before I left, I put a solid piece of plywood there, so I'm hoping the mouse doesn't chew through that.

I had also used mouse poison - eventually a stoned mouse would show up and scurry away before I could throw in the trash can. Unfortunately, I think the mouse was defecating that poison.:eek::eek:

Glue traps are great and they’re nonpoisonous to humans.…
Heavy gloves to transfer to trash is all you need after the catch.

Never get glue traps if you enjoy the occasional alcoholic beverage and take off your shoes while at home.

Follow what I've suggested, you'll be fine a few weeks. Used it twice already this year. Been using the same regimen for years. Roaches go bye bye. If you have other insects, add the Suspend SC as a perimeter defense outside. Good for 2 months; even through rain.

There will be no hatching with the Gentrol IGR (Insect Growth Regulator). It releases hormone blockers (insects only), which prevent them from reproducing. These are not flumes, the chems I am suggesting, and used dozens of times, get absorbed through their legs and when they go back to their hive, they share with other roaches. Believe it or not, roaches are very clean. They will clean themselves several times a day ingesting the poison.

Call an exterminator. They can find the source quickly. Then keep your house clean and seal the entry.
Agree with this, exterminator took care of some I had many years ago. He came once a month and it took several months to get them all killed off. When he thought they were irradicated 100% he gave me his cell and said "If you see ONE roach, call me, and I will come back that day and you won't be charged". This happened a couple times and he kept his word, came back because I saw ONE roach and didn't bill me. The single ones I saw at the end were dieing, you could tell. They looked like they had been married to a crazy wife for 40 years and were ready to die. After a couple times of coming back for one dieing roach, I never saw another one again.
