As those women age, their dating pool of eligible bachelors gets smaller and smaller as the high-quality men are coupled with less choosy women. And as the numbers of eligible bachelors decrease, those high-quality women continue to compete for the same limited number of high-quality men.

But these women do not lower their standards. Mostly because they are used to calling the shots and might be blissfully unaware that their dating clout is diminishing. The bloom may be coming off the rose, but the rose still doesn’t want to grow with weeds. And besides, many women decide that being single and cultivating their own damn garden is a better option.

Unfortunately, this leaves the dating market with a disproportionate amount of less than desirable men and a glut of eligible single ladies.

These women have high standards in all ways, they have careers, they normally care about political social cause. What they cannot do is settle for a guy they look down on, who they dont respect. Cos these women have high standards inc morality and behaviour they just cannot be with a guy below them. So they are stuck basically being single.

For the right guy, these are the best women to group together and make a harem out of. They have income, they have social skills, they will appreciate a high quality guy more than a low-class girl (high quality girls differentiate more than low-quality ones).

I agree with everything here except that such women will not tolerate being a harem plate - at least long term. That said, they will tolerate being "the other woman" realizing that a high-quality man will want to stay in marriage for the sake of his kids or reputation, etc.

Women 35+ definitely need to lower their standards to get lower term commitment. They can get short term arrangements easily but for something long term, they'll need to settle in some fashion. Most women end up latching on to some beta because most men in their 30s/40s are pusssy beggar beta males for women close to their own ages. These 35+ women do ok.
