I believe in free speech. This site is ridiculous with its overbearing moderators. This site will fail because your moderators shut down discussions and posts and nitpick over everything you post. In the long run nobody will come here and your site will lose people visiting. Free speech doesnt exist on this site. I encourage all of you to leave this site like I am doing today.

Having been a mod for many years, I know that the experience of the mods, the ban-ees and the members is always vastly different.

Most of the time, the membership is only aware of a disgruntled member’s feelings about his dealings with the mods, and completely unaware of the many factors led up to their being disgruntled.

I’ve yet to see a disgruntled member articulate what really happened with even a speck of accuracy.

The thread always consists of vague terms like “bullying”, “baiting”, etc. During my decade or more as a mod, I know that we always went WAY out of our way to try to keep established members here, even in the midst of blatant disrespect. Finally, after days or weeks of back and forth, when the member simply refused to abide to the rules that we all agreed to, we would eventually have to let him go. The membership is only aware that the guy suddenly disappeared.

Regarding guys who quit, that’s when the threads start about how “unreasonable” and “power-hungry” the mods are. Again, what really happened is always misrepresented or at least underrepresented, and the member who is leaving is usually making a scorched earth exit.

Modding is a thankless job and I know from experience that they absorb a lot of abuse before they act. There needs to be a majority consensus for a significant action to be taken. A closed thread can be appealed, and the mods will certainly listen and reconsider, but they will always act in the best interest of the forum and according to the clearly stated rules.

I would ask the members to always consider the fact that they have limited knowledge of the actual circumstances. I know it seems alarming when a member suddenly shows “banned” under his name, or when someone announces they are leaving, but take it from me, there is always a deeper chain of events. The mods routinely work hard to iron out problems and to avoid having to take any kind of action, even in the midst of abuse and disrespect.

Having said that, showing a little respect to the mods when in a disagreement goes a long way toward a resolution that everyone can live with, just like anything else in life.

A mod closed a thread cause someone posted a link from Bitchute. And his argument: Wikipedia said that bitchute is a right wing site, so I'm closing it if that's where your information comes from.

So when I see things like that, I am immediately alarmed.

Expecting moderators not to have some bias would be dishonest. But for the most part, they try to keep it to a dull roar.

Agreed. A lot of members have told me in PM that I have mastered the art of introducing content here without going over the line. I can feel the internal anger that a lot of new, younger members have due to the sexual situation of our era. That said, I also feel the "I've just discovered the greatest toy ever" optimism that a lot of new, younger members have at thinking that game can radically change their success rate.

I cant be nitpicked anymore. I get enough of that from women. I come here to try to get relief from the real world but ive realized over time that this site doesnt believe in free speech. Theres great users on here with great advice but whats the point of being on here if I cant express myself and my threads get locked. I just dont see the point anymore.

OP, would you mind elaborating more on why and how you got shut down and discriminated?

To be honest, I came to SS after I got shut down and banned by the SJW & leftards moderators at Loveshack and since I'm here, I was never once shut down or nitpicked or anything. I feel like home here at SS.

Was on LS once too. Same reason I left. SJWs, Leftards, White Knights, & Feminists. Reddit is the same if not worse.
